== Description ==

WordPress Plugin Shopping Cart
Simple install into new or existing WordPress blogs. Customers purchase directly from your store! 
Get a full E-Commerce platform in WordPress! Sell products, downloadable goods, gift cards, 
clothing and more!  And now with WordPress, the powerful features are still very easy to administrate! 

Level Four provides FREE administrative software, so there is no need to use WordPress as a slow management system for your products. Desktop PC, Mac, iPad, and Android software is freely available to download and allows you to control the myriad of options the software has to offer.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the levelfourstorefront to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Create a page to display your products
4. Add the short code `[l4store]` to the page for your products
5. Create a page to display a shopping cart
6. Add the short code `[l4cart]` to the page for your cart
7. Create a page to display an account for your shoppers
8. Add the short code `[l4account]` to the page for your store's account
9. Click the Cart Settings Link in your wordpress admin menu
10. Select the Store, Cart, and Account pages that you have created cooresponding to each page.
11. Select other options that work best for your current WP template.
12. Click Save Changes
13. If you wish to install our demo data, click the `INSTALL DEMO DATA` button.
14. Download administrative tools for your site at https://levelfourstorefront.com/administrative-tools/
15. Begin adding products using one of the administrative tools you have downloaded.
16. Once you are ready to sell products, contact us to purchase a store license.

Addionally:
1. You will need to sign up for a payment gateway like Authorize.net or PayPal to begin processing credit cards
2. You will need to set up tax and shipping rates.
3. You will need to manage other settings for the store (all through our administrative console).
4. You will need to secure your store via SSL, this is purchased through your host.
5. Once you have an ssl certificate, you will need to download a plugin like Wordpress HTTPS to force your store into secure mode.

Absolutely! If you do not need to sell anything, but would like to leverage our software to display products, please feel free to do just that!

= Can I display specials on any page? =

Yes you can! Simply go to the widgets page, and drag over the specials widget to any widget area. You can then check a box
on the product you want to display in the specials area.

= How do I add a store menu to my WordPress site? =

Simply go to the widgets page, and drag over the store menu widget to any widget area.

= How do I add categories, manufacturers, or price range filters to my WordPress site? =

Simply go to the widgets page, and drag over the widget cooresponding to the filter you wish to display to any widget area.
