This plugin creates a shortcode for you to turn your last WordPress post into a link. You can add this shortcode to your any link field or URL field in the post editor.

This plugin creates a shortcode for you to turn your last WordPress post into a link. You can add this shortcode to your any link field or URL field in the post editor.

Simply use shortcode [latestposturl] in your post editor to link to the latest post on your blog/website. This shortcode works on popular post editors like the Classic Editor, Gutenberg Editor as well as third-party page builders like Elementor and Visual Composer.

== Installation ==

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

e.g.

1. Upload the `latest-post-shortcode-link.zip` file to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
2. Extract the zip file
3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
4. In your post editor, simply use a shortcode widget with shortcode [latestposturl] to create a link to the latest post on your blog/website.
5. Enjoy!
