Over time, orphaned plugin or theme folders can accumulate in your wp-content directory. These may represent abandoned code, leftover files after updates, or even hidden backdoors. == Installation == 1. Upload the plugin files to the wp-content/plugins/folder-auditor directory, or install via the WordPress Plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress. 3. Navigate to Tools > Folder Auditor to begin auditing your site. == Frequently Asked Questions == = Why do I need this plugin? = Hidden or leftover folders can sometimes indicate incomplete uninstalls or even malicious code.
