Custom Author Permalink adds a simplee page under Manage where you’ll be able to change the wordpress author permalink base (/author/).

== Description ==

After a previous post where I was exposing a way to control Author Permalinks I decided to go one step forward and publicize an out-of-the-box solution in the form of this lightweight Wordpress Plugin. So here it is, making you able to translate author to whatever you’d like.

It just adds a very simple page under Manage where you’ll be able to change the wordpress author permalink base (/author/) to any other string.

Your thoughts and suggestions on it are very welcome but go easy on me since this is my first public plugin..

== Installation ==

1. Download Custom Author Permalink;
2. Extract its content;
3. Upload the folder CustomAuthorPermalink to wp-content/plugins;
4. Activate it under Plugins;
5. Configurate it under Manage > Author Permalink.
