This guide outlines how to get your plugin up and running quickly, for detailed configuration instructions please refer to the readme: /bbpress-user-ranks/readme.txt

Installation

If you have already installed and activated the plugin you can skip this part of the guide.

1. Login to your WordPress dashboard with an account which has privledges to manage plugins e.g. Administrator.

2. Click on the 'Plugins > Add New' menu item.

3. Click on the 'Upload Plugin' button.

4. Click on the 'Choose File' button.

5. Select the plugin zip file from your computer and click on the 'Install Now' button.

6. Once the plugin has installed click on the 'Activate Plugin' button.

User Ranks

Follow these instructions if you would like to display titles and/or an image when users reach a certain amount of posts.

1. Click on the 'Users > User Ranks' menu item.

2. Create a new user rank by clicking the 'Add New' button.

3. Enter a title, enable/disable the title display, set a posts to gain number and upload an image. Once done click the 'Publish' button. You can add as many as you like.

4. Now when a users post count reaches your user ranks 'posts to gain' number it will display the user rank, the rank will also be shown on the users profile page.

Settings

1. Click on the 'Settings > User Ranks' menu item.

2. Change any settings you wish and then click the 'Save Changes' button. For further details on these options please refer to the readme: /bbpress-user-ranks/readme.txt
