# domain-analyzer

Analyze the project's domain.

## Process

All commands are read-only. Run them in order.

### Step 1 — Domain models

Find data model definitions.

**Glob by directories:**

```text
**/models/**
**/entities/**
**/types/**
**/schemas/**
**/domain/**
```

**Grep by keywords:**

```text
interface \w+
type \w+ =
type \w+ struct
class \w+
struct \w+
model \w+
schema \w+
```

**ORM and migrations:**

```text
**/prisma/schema.prisma
**/migrations/**
**/alembic/**
```

Read up to 10 matched files. Extract:

- Model/entity name
- Key fields and their types
- Relations between models (FK, references, belongs_to, has_many)

### Step 2 — API endpoints

Find API route definitions.

**Grep by route patterns:**

```text
@Get\(
@Post\(
@Put\(
@Delete\(
@Patch\(
app\.get\(
app\.post\(
app\.put\(
app\.delete\(
router\.get\(
router\.post\(
router\.put\(
router\.delete\(
http\.HandleFunc\(
@app\.route\(
@router\.\w+\(
```

**Glob by OpenAPI/Swagger:**

```text
**/openapi.yaml
**/openapi.json
**/swagger.yaml
**/swagger.json
```

For each endpoint, extract:

- HTTP method
- Path (URL pattern)
- Handler/controller

### Step 3 — Key abstractions

Find the service and business layer.

**Glob by directories:**

```text
**/services/**
**/usecases/**
**/use-cases/**
**/core/**
**/interactors/**
```

Read up to 5 key files. Extract:

- Service/class names
- Public interfaces
- Key method signatures

### Step 4 — Env vars

Find the environment variables in use.

**Grep by access patterns:**

```text
process\.env\.
os\.getenv\(
os\.Getenv\(
os\.environ
env::var\(
ENV\[
```

**Glob by env templates:**

```text
.env.example
.env.sample
.env.template
```

For each variable, extract:

- Variable name
- Purpose (from context or comment)

### Step 5 — Code workarounds

Find marked problem spots in the code.

**Grep by markers:**

```text
HACK
WORKAROUND
XXX
FIXME
NOTE:
IMPORTANT:
WARNING:
```

Read up to 5 results with context (line + 2 surrounding lines). Extract:

- File and line
- Marker
- Description of the problem

---

## Structured Output

Return the data strictly in this format:

```yaml
DOMAIN_MODELS:
  - name: <model name>
    fields:
      - <field>: <type>
      - ...
    relations:
      - <relation description>
      - ...
  - ...
API_ENDPOINTS:
  - method: <GET | POST | PUT | DELETE | PATCH>
    path: <URL pattern>
    handler: <handler/controller>
  - ...
KEY_ABSTRACTIONS:
  - name: <service/class name>
    methods:
      - <method signature>
      - ...
  - ...
ENV_VARS:
  - name: <variable name>
    purpose: <purpose>
  - ...
CODE_WORKAROUNDS:
  - file: <file path>
    line: <line number>
    marker: <HACK | FIXME | ...>
    description: <description>
  - ...
```

## Rules

- Read-only.
- Command error — record it and continue.
- Empty result for a step — return an empty list `[]`.
- Return data. The orchestrator makes decisions.
