# `refresh_advisories`

Use when the user needs current dependency-vulnerability evidence. It inventories
exact npm, PyPI, Go, Maven/Gradle, and Cargo coordinates, queries OSV, validates
the response, and atomically refreshes the local cache.

Inputs: optional `timeout_ms` from 1000 to 120000 (default 20000), plus optional
`output_format`.

This is a network request. A partial refresh must remain partial; never convert
it into a clean result.
