# wcslight Commercial Licensing

wcslight is available under a dual-license model:

- GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (`AGPL-3.0-only`)
- separate commercial license

The commercial license provides an alternative to the AGPL-3.0 for users who
need licensing terms suitable for proprietary or closed-source software.

Typical use cases include:

- integration into proprietary applications
- closed-source commercial products
- SaaS or hosted services where AGPL obligations are not suitable
- OEM or embedded redistribution
- proprietary modifications
- commercial redistribution under alternative licensing terms

Use of wcslight under the AGPL-3.0 does not require a commercial license,
including for commercial purposes, provided that all AGPL-3.0 requirements
are satisfied.

Commercial licensing terms are provided through a separate written agreement
with the copyright holder.
