# Global Helpers

### NOTE: Only helpers that are global across most functions in multiple services live here.

Global Helpers are functions that are used across most of the functions. 

## Rules for global helper functions
1. Must be used in over 80% of the endpoints
2. Can have multiple functions in a file, but only if they relate to each other. Ex: Logs.ts, would have all errorLogs, successLogs, etc functions.
3. Types are written within the file, inline. So that a file is self contained.

## DO NOT
1. Add a helper function to this folder if it is only used in a few endpoints   
    * Just add it to the `helper.ts` within that endpoint
2. Edit a helper function in here, without first checking if it's part of the core service. If it is, edit the core version.
