Qualifications
All applicants
You must have at least one year of the following specialized experience, which is equivalent to the difficulty and responsibility of the GS-04 level within the federal service:
- Providing administrative, technical or clerical support to a Human Resources (HR) office.
- Entering and/or extracting data into an automated Human Resources (HR) system.
- Verifying and updating training, benefits or personnel and position data and records.
- Processing a variety of personnel actions related to employment, or providing basic HR information to customers.
For former/current federal employees
We may consider your application if you’re a current or former employee who has held a GS-03 position or higher in the preceding 52 weeks on a permanent competitive appointment.
Time after Competitive Appointment
Candidates must have served 3 months after latest competitive appointment in the Federal service.
Education

If using education to qualify, you must have:
- Successfully completed four years of education above the high school level, in any field for which high school graduation, or the equivalent, is a prerequisite.
- Successfully completed post-high school education and equivalent experience.
