# {{name}} — a tiny body ({{board}})

Scaffolded by `npx tiny-tech init --body {{slug}}` (tiny-tech {{version}}, template `linux-daemon`).
This box joins tiny as a **daemon**: it runs `tiny-tech mesh`, heartbeats every 30 s, and answers
`use_device` invokes from any tiny surface with its own local agent.

## The three commands

```bash
# 1. on the box — pin tiny-tech under ~/.tiny/daemon and install the SYSTEM unit
bash install.sh
# 2. enrol it: your session if the box has one, else a pairing code + QR you approve on
#    https://tiny.technology/devices (the box never holds your account token)
npx tiny-tech enroll --body {{slug}}
# 3. see it
npx tiny-tech devices        # or https://tiny.technology/devices
```

`enroll` detects an already-installed `{{slug}}-tiny.service` and does NOT start a second node.

## Layout

| path | what |
|---|---|
| `tiny.body.json` | the body profile this repo implements (slug, platform, capabilities) |
| `install.sh` | node + pinned tiny-tech in `~/.tiny/daemon` + the unit (idempotent) |
| `systemd/{{slug}}-tiny.service` | system unit: `User=`, `EnvironmentFile=/etc/{{slug}}/env` (model keys, root 0600), `TINY_HOME`, memory cap |
| `tools/{{slug}}_status.mjs` | a device tool for `~/.tiny/tools` — the agent on this box (and the fleet) can call it |
| `tests/` | `node --test` — unit + tool load |

## Model credentials

The daemon reads `/etc/{{slug}}/env` (create it as root, `chmod 600`): `TINY_MODEL_PROVIDER`, `TINY_MODEL_API_KEY`,
`TINY_MODEL_ID` (or `AWS_*` for Bedrock). Never commit it.
