**Checklist ID:** MOVEMENT-CL-001
**Referenced by:** tasks/review.md
**Purpose:** Validate movement building deliverables for quality before delivery to user.

[[LLM: INITIALIZATION INSTRUCTIONS

This checklist validates movement building output specifically.

EXECUTION APPROACH:
1. For each category, verify every item against the deliverable
2. Mark items as [x] Pass, [ ] Fail, [N/A] Not Applicable
3. CRITICAL items block delivery; non-critical items are advisory

CRITICAL items are marked with (CRITICAL) suffix.]]

---

## 1. Tension & Enemy

- [ ] The tension is clearly identified — what is broken, unfair, or unacceptable? (CRITICAL)
- [ ] The "enemy" is defined: a system, status quo, or mindset — not a person or group (CRITICAL)
- [ ] The tension is real and felt by the target audience, not manufactured
- [ ] The problem is framed in a way that demands action, not passivity
- [ ] The tension is specific enough to rally around, not vague ("the world needs change")

## 2. Identity & Belonging

- [ ] A clear group identity is defined — members know what they are (CRITICAL)
- [ ] Identity markers exist: language, symbols, rituals, or shared behaviors
- [ ] The identity is aspirational — people want to be part of this
- [ ] In-group/out-group boundaries are clear but not exclusionary or toxic
- [ ] The identity story answers: "We are the people who ___"

## 3. Call to Action & Mobilization

- [ ] Call to action is specific, immediate, and achievable (CRITICAL)
- [ ] First step is low-barrier — easy to say yes to
- [ ] Escalation ladder exists: from observer to participant to leader
- [ ] Social proof mechanisms are built in (visible participation)
- [ ] Sharing/recruitment mechanics are natural, not forced

## 4. Narrative & Emotional Power

- [ ] Origin story or founding myth is compelling
- [ ] Emotional arc moves people from frustration to hope to action
- [ ] Language is vivid, quotable, and memorable
- [ ] The narrative passes the "campfire test" — would people retell it?
- [ ] Heroes and transformation stories are featured

## 5. Impact & Measurability

- [ ] Success metrics are defined — how do you know the movement is growing? (CRITICAL)
- [ ] Impact is measurable: members, actions taken, outcomes achieved
- [ ] Milestones are set for short-term and long-term
- [ ] Feedback loops exist for course correction
- [ ] Sustainability plan: how does the movement outlive the initial spark?

## 6. Ethical Guardrails

- [ ] The movement empowers, not manipulates
- [ ] Diverse voices and perspectives are included
- [ ] Exit is always possible — no cult dynamics
- [ ] Transparency in leadership and decision-making
- [ ] Real benefit to participants, not just the organizer
