# Wallpapers

This directory is served at the `/wallpapers/` route for **user-supplied**
wallpaper images. Drop your own `*.webp` / `*.png` / `*.jpg` here and reference
it from a machine's appearance via a custom wallpaper URL
(`/wallpapers/your-image.webp`).

**No images ship with termfleet by default.** The built-in wallpapers are
pure-CSS **gradient / pattern / solid** presets defined in
`frontend/appearance/machine-appearance.ts` — they carry no image files, so the
repository and npm package contain nothing whose redistribution license must be
vetted. If you add images here, make sure you have the right to use and
redistribute them.
