This license applies only to the original software and other copyrightable
material created by TcpTun Inc. in this repository. Third-party components,
including components in third_party/ and internal/reality/, are excluded from
this license and remain subject to the license and notices included with those
components.

1. Grant of Use

Subject to this license, TcpTun Inc. grants every recipient a worldwide,
non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-transferable license to install and use an
authorized, unmodified copy of the TcpTun software for personal, internal,
educational, research, and commercial purposes. No license fee is charged for
these uses.

This license grants use of the software only. It does not transfer ownership
of the software or any intellectual property of TcpTun Inc.

2. Restrictions

Unless TcpTun Inc. gives separate written permission, you must not:

  a) publish, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute the
     software or a copy of it;
  b) modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the software;
  c) make the source code or any part of the source code available to others;
  d) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover the
     source code, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits
     such activity; or
  e) remove or alter copyright, trademark, license, or other proprietary
     notices.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

3. User Responsibility

You use the software entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible
for your configurations, traffic, content, security practices, compliance
with applicable laws and regulations, and any consequences arising from your
use of the software. You must not use the software to violate the rights of
others or any applicable law.

4. No Warranty and No Support

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF
ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT,
ACCURACY, SECURITY, OR AVAILABILITY. TCP TUN INC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE
SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL MEET
YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

TcpTun Inc. is not obligated to provide support, maintenance, updates,
security fixes, or continued availability of the software.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TCP TUN INC AND ITS
DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRIBUTORS, AND LICENSORS ARE NOT LIABLE
FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR
PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS,
GOODWILL, OR SERVICE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS
LICENSE, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY
OF SUCH DAMAGES.

6. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you materially breach its terms.
Upon termination, you must stop using the TcpTun software and delete copies
under your control, except where retention is required by applicable law.

7. Copyright and Trademarks

TcpTun Inc. retains all rights, title, and interest in the original TcpTun
software and associated intellectual property not expressly granted by this
license. "TcpTun" and related names, logos, and marks are not licensed by
this document.

8. Third-Party Components

Third-party components are not relicensed by this document. Their original
licenses, copyright notices, source-availability requirements, and other
conditions continue to apply to those components.
