API Costs & Token Usage - 100% Your Responsibility **YOU ARE SOLELY AND COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL API COSTS INCURRED** when using TachiBot MCP. **AUTHOR HAS NULL (ZERO) RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY COSTS.** #### Important Cost Disclaimers ⚠️ **Token costs are 100% YOUR financial responsibility** - You pay for all API calls to third-party providers (Perplexity, Grok, OpenAI, Google, etc.) - The creators of TachiBot MCP have ZERO control over provider pricing - The creators of TachiBot MCP have NULL (ZERO) responsibility for your costs - The creators of TachiBot MCP will NOT reimburse you for API costs under ANY circumstances - Costs can accumulate quickly, especially with: - `grok_search` with high `maxSearchSources` - `perplexity_research` with `depth: "deep"` - `openai_brainstorm` with `model: "gpt-5"` - Repeated or automated tool usage ⚠️ **Unexpected costs may occur** - API providers may change pricing without notice - Bugs in TachiBot or misconfiguration may cause excessive API calls - Some tools make multiple API calls per invocation - Cost estimates in documentation are APPROXIMATIONS ONLY ⚠️ **Monitor your usage actively** - Set spending limits in provider dashboards (OpenAI, Google Cloud, etc.) - Review provider usage dashboards regularly #### You Agree To - Monitor your own API usage and costs - Set your own spending limits in provider dashboards - Understand the cost structure of each API provider - Accept full financial responsibility for all API calls - NOT hold TachiBot creators responsible for any costs incurred ### 3. Misuse & Prohibited Activities You agree NOT to use TachiBot MCP for: #### Illegal Activities - Any illegal purpose or activity - Violating any applicable laws or regulations - Infringing on intellectual property rights #### Malicious Use - Creating malware, viruses, or other harmful code - Conducting attacks on systems or networks - Attempting to bypass security measures - Harvesting credentials or personal data - Social engineering or phishing #### Abusive Usage - Generating spam or unsolicited content - Creating misleading or deceptive content - Automated mass-generation of content - Violating third-party service terms of use - Circumventing API rate limits or quotas #### You Accept Responsibility For - All content generated using TachiBot MCP - How you use generated content - Compliance with applicable laws - Consequences of misuse ### 5. Rate Limits & Service Availability #### No Guarantees - TachiBot MCP may be unavailable at any time - Third-party APIs may be rate-limited or unavailable - Tools may fail without warning or error messages - Performance may vary based on provider availability #### You Acknowledge - Rate limits are set by third-party providers, not TachiBot - Exceeding rate limits is YOUR responsibility - TachiBot creators are not liable for service interruptions - No SLA (Service Level Agreement) is provided ### 6. Data & Privacy #### Your API Keys - You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure - TachiBot stores keys in your local `.env` file only - TachiBot does NOT transmit keys except to authorized API providers - Lost or stolen keys are YOUR responsibility - Unauthorized usage of your keys is YOUR responsibility #### Data Processing - Queries sent to third-party providers are subject to their privacy policies - TachiBot does NOT store or log your queries by default - Third-party providers may store queries according to their policies - You are responsible for understanding each provider's data handling #### Sensitive Information ⚠️ **DO NOT** send sensitive information through TachiBot: - Passwords or credentials - Private keys or secrets - Personal identifying information (PII) - Financial information - Protected health information (PHI) - Confidential business information **If you do:** The responsibility is YOURS, not TachiBot creators'. ### 7. Accuracy & Reliability #### No Guarantee of Accuracy - AI models may produce incorrect, misleading, or harmful output - Search results may be outdated or inaccurate - Code generated may contain bugs or security vulnerabilities - Research findings may be incomplete or biased #### You Must - Verify all information independently - Review and test all generated code before use - NOT rely solely on AI output for critical decisions - Use your professional judgment #### TachiBot Creators Are Not Liable For - Incorrect information provided by AI models - Bugs or vulnerabilities in generated code - Decisions made based on AI output - Any damages resulting from inaccurate output ### 8. Changes to Software & Terms #### We Reserve the Right To - Modify TachiBot MCP at any time without notice - Add, remove, or change tools and features - Update these terms without prior notification - Discontinue the project at any time #### Your Responsibility - Review these terms periodically for changes - Understand that continued use = acceptance of new terms - Upgrade or modify your usage as needed ### 9. Limitation of Liability - NULL RESPONSIBILITY **TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:** THE CREATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND DISTRIBUTORS OF TACHIBOT MCP HAVE **NULL (ZERO) LIABILITY** AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: - **API Costs:** ALL costs from third-party providers - you pay 100%, we pay 0% - **Direct Damages:** Including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or service interruption - **Indirect Damages:** Including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities - **Consequential Damages:** Resulting from use or inability to use the software - **Punitive Damages:** For any reason whatsoever - **Third-Party Services:** Actions, failures, or costs from integrated services - **Security Breaches:** Resulting from use of the software - **Damages from Misuse:** Resulting from improper configuration or usage - **AI Output Issues:** Incorrect, harmful, biased, or misleading content - **Legal Consequences:** Violations of laws, regulations, or third-party rights - **Business Losses:** Lost opportunities, reputation damage, or competitive disadvantage - **Personal Damages:** Any injury, harm, or suffering of any kind **Our responsibility is NULL (ZERO) even if:** - The creators have been advised of the possibility of such damages - A remedy fails of its essential purpose - Damages result from bugs, errors, or failures in the software - Damages result from our negligence or willful misconduct - Damages are catastrophic or severe **There is NO dollar limit to this limitation - our liability is ZERO in all cases.** ### 10. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the creators, contributors, and distributors of TachiBot MCP from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: - Your use of TachiBot MCP - Your violation of these terms - Your violation of third-party rights - Your API usage and associated costs - Content you generate using the software - Your misuse or illegal use of the software ### 11.
