# sybase-ts

A simple Node.js wrapper around a Java application that provides easy access to Sybase databases via jconn3. The main goal is to allow easy installation without the requirements of setting up and configuring ODBC or FreeTDS.

# Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:

. You have a working Linux machine. This package has been tested on Ubuntu and Debian, but should work on other distributions as well.
. You have a suitable version of Node.js installed. We recommend using the latest LTS version.
. You have Java Runtime Environment (JRE) installed. If not, you can install it with the following command:
