# Notes from the kick-off meeting (Marrowby County Extension Service website refresh)

Director:
- "The top navigation should be our nine divisions and units, in org-chart order: Office of the Director, Agronomic Services, Laboratory Services, Regulatory Programs, Animal Sciences, Consumer Horticulture, Youth Development, Farm Business Management, Events. People need to understand how we're organised."
- "Events is our busiest section by far — it gets about half of all our traffic — so it should be first."

Web coordinator:
- "The CMS theme supports a maximum of six items in the global navigation bar. Anything beyond that wraps onto a second line on desktop and breaks the mobile menu."
- "Contact Us, Accessibility and Newsletter currently sit in the footer and should stay there."
- "We have two soil testing submission pages because the Lab and Agronomic Services each made their own. The fees on them don't match. Finance hasn't told us which is right."

Board member:
- "Please confirm in the write-up which structure tested best with farmers, so the board can sign it off next week." (Note from web coordinator: we have not run any user testing yet.)
