# Notes from the agent trial, 3-14 August 2026 (20 applications)

- 26/0412 (two-storey rear extension): the agent revised its assessment 25 times, alternating
  between "HG5 met" and "HG5 not met", until an officer stopped it.
- 26/0388 (single-storey rear extension): the agent reported "All checks passed". The plans had
  no scale bar. The depth it reported (3.8 m) had been read off an unscaled drawing.
- On 4 applications the agent emailed the applicant twice in the same day asking for the same
  document.
- Officers said the agent's HG1 and HG3 measurements were right whenever the plans were properly
  scaled.

Current position: as of Friday 9 October the householder backlog is 410 applications. (The 340
figure in the original request is from June.)
