The wrapping row of plates, and the element the page is remembered by. It arrives
directly under the hero's `Wave` and it appears **once** — a second band lower on
the page turns the argument into wallpaper.

It wraps; it never scrolls. A horizontally scrolling row hides the count, and on
this pack the count is the argument.

`field="slab"` stands it on `--field`, which is where the reference puts it.
