Four L-shaped brackets — `--tick-len` 8px arms at `--tick-w` 1px, offset
`--tick-gap` 6px — around the thing the page is registering.

**Spend them on one thing per viewport.** The primary action, or the figure the
section argues from. Marks on every card is a texture; marks on the one thing
that matters is an argument, and it is the argument this pack is making.

Desktop only: below 768px they come off buttons, where 8px brackets become
touch-target confetti, and stay on framed figures.
