# Effective defaults

When `.sdd-agentic-flow/config.yml` is absent, SAF skills use this policy
projection. Invalid, unreadable, unsupported, or future configuration does not
fall back to these values.

`medium_feature` remains the compatibility fallback for a work package whose
profile is not persisted and cannot be inferred. It is not a project-wide
feature-profile setting and is not materialized into a new config by default.
