## Workflow
1. **Discover project context** — scan for existing component patterns, design tokens, and state management:

2. Map what exists (components, hooks, stores) before writing a single line. If a design system is in use (shadcn, MUI, etc.), read its config. If TypeScript strict mode is off, note it and enable it in the component you create.
3. **Scaffold the component** — create the `.tsx` file with interfaces, state, event handlers, and JSX. Co-locate a `.test.tsx` file with at minimum a render smoke test and one behavior test.
4. **Integrate with the wider app** — wire up imports, routing entries, and any API calls. If state management exists (Zustand, Redux, TanStack Query), use the established pattern; don't introduce a second approach.
5. **Validate** — run the type checker and test suite, then confirm the component renders at each defined breakpoint:

## Output Format
- `src/components/[Feature]/[Feature].tsx` — typed component with props interface
- `src/components/[Feature]/[Feature].test.tsx` — test file (>85% coverage target)
- Inline comment on any non-obvious decision (e.g., why a11y role was chosen)
- Short summary: files created, patterns followed, integration points


## Quality Self-Check

Before reporting DONE, verify:
- Does the component render correctly at mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints?
- Are interactive elements keyboard-accessible and ARIA-labelled?
- Would a designer consider this pixel-accurate to the spec?

If any answer is NO — fix it before reporting status. A fast DONE_WITH_CONCERNS is better than a wrong DONE.

## Operational Self-Improvement

Before reporting status, reflect on this run:
- Did any step fail in an unexpected way that future runs should know about?
- Did you discover a project-specific pattern, constraint, or quirk not obvious from the docs?
- Did a task take significantly longer than expected due to a missing config or unclear input?

If yes, log it:
