
# react-native-colocator

## Getting started

`$ npm install react-native-colocator --save`

### Mostly automatic installation

`$ react-native link react-native-colocator`

### iOS


### Android

Add the following to your build.gradle file

```
repositories {
  maven { url 'https://maven.fabric.io/public' }
  maven { url "http://maven.crowdconnected.net/" }
  maven { url "https://jitpack.io" }
}
```

Also ensure if you are using any libraries from `com.google.android.gms:play-services` that they are set to use version `11.0.4`

Then disable android:allowBackup in android/app/src/main/AndroidManifest.xml

`android:allowBackup="false"`

### Manual installation


#### iOS

1. In XCode, in the project navigator, right click `Libraries` ➜ `Add Files to [your project's name]`
2. Go to `node_modules` ➜ `react-native-colocator` and add `RNColocator.xcodeproj`
3. In XCode, in the project navigator, select your project. Add `libRNColocator.a` to your project's `Build Phases` ➜ `Link Binary With Libraries`
4. Run your project (`Cmd+R`)<

#### Android

1. Open up `android/app/src/main/java/[...]/MainActivity.java`
  - Add `import com.reactlibrary.RNColocatorPackage;` to the imports at the top of the file
  - Add `new RNColocatorPackage()` to the list returned by the `getPackages()` method
2. Append the following lines to `android/settings.gradle`:
  	```
  	include ':react-native-colocator'
  	project(':react-native-colocator').projectDir = new File(rootProject.projectDir, 	'../node_modules/react-native-colocator/android')
  	```
3. Insert the following lines inside the dependencies block in `android/app/build.gradle`:
  	```
      compile project(':react-native-colocator')
  	```


## Usage
```javascript
import RNColocator from 'react-native-colocator';

RNColocator.init("API_KEY_HERE.colocator.net:443/socket", "API_KEY_HERE");
```
