{"id":83,"name":"المطففين","transliteration":"Al-Mutaffifin","translation":"The Defrauding","type":"meccan","total_verses":36,"verses":[{"id":1,"text":"وَيۡلٞ لِّلۡمُطَفِّفِينَ","translation":"Woe to those who give less [than due]","transliteration":"Waylun lilmutaffifeena"},{"id":2,"text":"ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكۡتَالُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسۡتَوۡفُونَ","translation":"Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full","transliteration":"Allatheena itha iktaloo AAala alnnasi yastawfoona"},{"id":3,"text":"وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمۡ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمۡ يُخۡسِرُونَ","translation":"But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss","transliteration":"Waitha kaloohum aw wazanoohum yukhsiroona"},{"id":4,"text":"أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبۡعُوثُونَ","translation":"Do they not think that they will be resurrected","transliteration":"Ala yathunnu olaika annahum mabAAoothoona"},{"id":5,"text":"لِيَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ","translation":"For a tremendous Day","transliteration":"Liyawmin AAatheemin"},{"id":6,"text":"يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Yawma yaqoomu alnnasu lirabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":7,"text":"كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡفُجَّارِ لَفِي سِجِّينٖ","translation":"No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen","transliteration":"Kalla inna kitaba alfujjari lafee sijjeenin"},{"id":8,"text":"وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٞ","translation":"And what can make you know what is sijjeen","transliteration":"Wama adraka ma sijjeenun"},{"id":9,"text":"كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ","translation":"It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed","transliteration":"Kitabun marqoomun"},{"id":10,"text":"وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ","translation":"Woe, that Day, to the deniers","transliteration":"Waylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena"},{"id":11,"text":"ٱلَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ بِيَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ","translation":"Who deny the Day of Recompense","transliteration":"Allatheena yukaththiboona biyawmi alddeeni"},{"id":12,"text":"وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعۡتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ","translation":"And none deny it except every sinful transgressor","transliteration":"Wama yukaththibu bihi illa kullu muAAtadin atheemin"},{"id":13,"text":"إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"When Our verses are recited to him, he says, \"Legends of the former peoples","transliteration":"Itha tutla AAalayhi ayatuna qala asateeru alawwaleena"},{"id":14,"text":"كَلَّاۖ بَلۡۜ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ","translation":"No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning","transliteration":"Kalla bal rana AAala quloobihim ma kanoo yaksiboona"},{"id":15,"text":"كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ عَن رَّبِّهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّمَحۡجُوبُونَ","translation":"No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned","transliteration":"Kalla innahum AAan rabbihim yawmaithin lamahjooboona"},{"id":16,"text":"ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمۡ لَصَالُواْ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire","transliteration":"Thumma innahum lasaloo aljaheemi"},{"id":17,"text":"ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ","translation":"Then it will be said [to them], \"This is what you used to deny","transliteration":"Thumma yuqalu hatha allathee kuntum bihi tukaththiboona"},{"id":18,"text":"كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ لَفِي عِلِّيِّينَ","translation":"No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun","transliteration":"Kalla inna kitaba alabrari lafee AAilliyyeena"},{"id":19,"text":"وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا عِلِّيُّونَ","translation":"And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun","transliteration":"Wama adraka ma AAilliyyoona"},{"id":20,"text":"كِتَٰبٞ مَّرۡقُومٞ","translation":"It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed","transliteration":"Kitabun marqoomun"},{"id":21,"text":"يَشۡهَدُهُ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ","translation":"Which is witnessed by those brought near [to Allah]","transliteration":"Yashhaduhu almuqarraboona"},{"id":22,"text":"إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ","translation":"Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure","transliteration":"Inna alabrara lafee naAAeemin"},{"id":23,"text":"عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ","translation":"On adorned couches, observing","transliteration":"AAala alaraiki yanthuroona"},{"id":24,"text":"تَعۡرِفُ فِي وُجُوهِهِمۡ نَضۡرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ","translation":"You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure","transliteration":"TaAArifu fee wujoohihim nadrata alnnaAAeemi"},{"id":25,"text":"يُسۡقَوۡنَ مِن رَّحِيقٖ مَّخۡتُومٍ","translation":"They will be given to drink [pure] wine [which was] sealed","transliteration":"Yusqawna min raheeqin makhtoomin"},{"id":26,"text":"خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسۡكٞۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلۡيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلۡمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ","translation":"The last of it is musk. So for this let the competitors compete","transliteration":"Khitamuhu miskun wafee thalika falyatanafasi almutanafisoona"},{"id":27,"text":"وَمِزَاجُهُۥ مِن تَسۡنِيمٍ","translation":"And its mixture is of Tasneem","transliteration":"Wamizajuhu min tasneemin"},{"id":28,"text":"عَيۡنٗا يَشۡرَبُ بِهَا ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ","translation":"A spring from which those near [to Allah] drink","transliteration":"AAaynan yashrabu biha almuqarraboona"},{"id":29,"text":"إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجۡرَمُواْ كَانُواْ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَضۡحَكُونَ","translation":"Indeed, those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed","transliteration":"Inna allatheena ajramoo kanoo mina allatheena amanoo yadhakoona"},{"id":30,"text":"وَإِذَا مَرُّواْ بِهِمۡ يَتَغَامَزُونَ","translation":"And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances","transliteration":"Waitha marroo bihim yataghamazoona"},{"id":31,"text":"وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُواْ فَكِهِينَ","translation":"And when they returned to their people, they would return jesting","transliteration":"Waitha inqalaboo ila ahlihimu inqalaboo fakiheena"},{"id":32,"text":"وَإِذَا رَأَوۡهُمۡ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ","translation":"And when they saw them, they would say, \"Indeed, those are truly lost","transliteration":"Waitha raawhum qaloo inna haolai ladalloona"},{"id":33,"text":"وَمَآ أُرۡسِلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ حَٰفِظِينَ","translation":"But they had not been sent as guardians over them","transliteration":"Wama orsiloo AAalayhim hafitheena"},{"id":34,"text":"فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡكُفَّارِ يَضۡحَكُونَ","translation":"So Today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers","transliteration":"Faalyawma allatheena amanoo mina alkuffari yadhakoona"},{"id":35,"text":"عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ","translation":"On adorned couches, observing","transliteration":"AAala alaraiki yanthuroona"},{"id":36,"text":"هَلۡ ثُوِّبَ ٱلۡكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ","translation":"Have the disbelievers [not] been rewarded [this Day] for what they used to do","transliteration":"Hal thuwwiba alkuffaru ma kanoo yafAAaloona"}]}
