{"id":78,"name":"النبإ","transliteration":"An-Naba","translation":"The Tidings","type":"meccan","total_verses":40,"verses":[{"id":1,"text":"عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ","translation":"About what are they asking one another","transliteration":"AAamma yatasaaloona"},{"id":2,"text":"عَنِ ٱلنَّبَإِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ","translation":"About the great news","transliteration":"AAani alnnabai alAAatheemi"},{"id":3,"text":"ٱلَّذِي هُمۡ فِيهِ مُخۡتَلِفُونَ","translation":"That over which they are in disagreement","transliteration":"Allathee hum feehi mukhtalifoona"},{"id":4,"text":"كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"No! They are going to know","transliteration":"Kalla sayaAAlamoona"},{"id":5,"text":"ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"Then, no! They are going to know","transliteration":"Thumma kalla sayaAAlamoona"},{"id":6,"text":"أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِهَٰدٗا","translation":"Have We not made the earth a resting place","transliteration":"Alam najAAali alarda mihadan"},{"id":7,"text":"وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادٗا","translation":"And the mountains as stakes","transliteration":"Waaljibala awtadan"},{"id":8,"text":"وَخَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا","translation":"And We created you in pairs","transliteration":"Wakhalaqnakum azwajan"},{"id":9,"text":"وَجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتٗا","translation":"And made your sleep [a means for] rest","transliteration":"WajaAAalna nawmakum subatan"},{"id":10,"text":"وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلَّيۡلَ لِبَاسٗا","translation":"And made the night as clothing","transliteration":"WajaAAalna allayla libasan"},{"id":11,"text":"وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلنَّهَارَ مَعَاشٗا","translation":"And made the day for livelihood","transliteration":"WajaAAalna alnnahara maAAashan"},{"id":12,"text":"وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعٗا شِدَادٗا","translation":"And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]","transliteration":"Wabanayna fawqakum sabAAan shidadan"},{"id":13,"text":"وَجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجٗا وَهَّاجٗا","translation":"And made [therein] a burning lamp","transliteration":"WajaAAalna sirajan wahhajan"},{"id":14,"text":"وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمُعۡصِرَٰتِ مَآءٗ ثَجَّاجٗا","translation":"And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water","transliteration":"Waanzalna mina almuAAsirati maan thajjajan"},{"id":15,"text":"لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبّٗا وَنَبَاتٗا","translation":"That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation","transliteration":"Linukhrija bihi habban wanabatan"},{"id":16,"text":"وَجَنَّـٰتٍ أَلۡفَافًا","translation":"And gardens of entwined growth","transliteration":"Wajannatin alfafan"},{"id":17,"text":"إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيقَٰتٗا","translation":"Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time","transliteration":"Inna yawma alfasli kana meeqatan"},{"id":18,"text":"يَوۡمَ يُنفَخُ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَتَأۡتُونَ أَفۡوَاجٗا","translation":"The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes","transliteration":"Yawma yunfakhu fee alssoori fatatoona afwajan"},{"id":19,"text":"وَفُتِحَتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبٗا","translation":"And the heaven is opened and will become gateways","transliteration":"Wafutihati alssamao fakanat abwaban"},{"id":20,"text":"وَسُيِّرَتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًا","translation":"And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage","transliteration":"Wasuyyirati aljibalu fakanat saraban"},{"id":21,"text":"إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادٗا","translation":"Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait","transliteration":"Inna jahannama kanat mirsadan"},{"id":22,"text":"لِّلطَّـٰغِينَ مَـَٔابٗا","translation":"For the transgressors, a place of return","transliteration":"Lilttagheena maaban"},{"id":23,"text":"لَّـٰبِثِينَ فِيهَآ أَحۡقَابٗا","translation":"In which they will remain for ages [unending]","transliteration":"Labitheena feeha ahqaban"},{"id":24,"text":"لَّا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرۡدٗا وَلَا شَرَابًا","translation":"They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink","transliteration":"La yathooqoona feeha bardan wala sharaban"},{"id":25,"text":"إِلَّا حَمِيمٗا وَغَسَّاقٗا","translation":"Except scalding water and [foul] purulence","transliteration":"Illa hameeman waghassaqan"},{"id":26,"text":"جَزَآءٗ وِفَاقًا","translation":"An appropriate recompense","transliteration":"Jazaan wifaqan"},{"id":27,"text":"إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَرۡجُونَ حِسَابٗا","translation":"Indeed, they were not expecting an account","transliteration":"Innahum kanoo la yarjoona hisaban"},{"id":28,"text":"وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابٗا","translation":"And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial","transliteration":"Wakaththaboo biayatina kiththaban"},{"id":29,"text":"وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ كِتَٰبٗا","translation":"But all things We have enumerated in writing","transliteration":"Wakulla shayin ahsaynahu kitaban"},{"id":30,"text":"فَذُوقُواْ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمۡ إِلَّا عَذَابًا","translation":"So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment","transliteration":"Fathooqoo falan nazeedakum illa AAathaban"},{"id":31,"text":"إِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا","translation":"Indeed, for the righteous is attainment","transliteration":"Inna lilmuttaqeena mafazan"},{"id":32,"text":"حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعۡنَٰبٗا","translation":"Gardens and grapevines","transliteration":"Hadaiqa waaAAnaban"},{"id":33,"text":"وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتۡرَابٗا","translation":"And full-breasted [companions] of equal age","transliteration":"WakawaAAiba atraban"},{"id":34,"text":"وَكَأۡسٗا دِهَاقٗا","translation":"And a full cup","transliteration":"Wakasan dihaqan"},{"id":35,"text":"لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا كِذَّـٰبٗا","translation":"No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood","transliteration":"La yasmaAAoona feeha laghwan wala kiththaban"},{"id":36,"text":"جَزَآءٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابٗا","translation":"[As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account","transliteration":"Jazaan min rabbika AAataan hisaban"},{"id":37,"text":"رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۖ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابٗا","translation":"[From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech","transliteration":"Rabbi alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma alrrahmani la yamlikoona minhu khitaban"},{"id":38,"text":"يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ صَفّٗاۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابٗا","translation":"The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct","transliteration":"Yawma yaqoomu alrroohu waalmalaikatu saffan la yatakallamoona illa man athina lahu alrrahmanu waqala sawaban"},{"id":39,"text":"ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا","translation":"That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return","transliteration":"Thalika alyawmu alhaqqu faman shaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi maaban"},{"id":40,"text":"إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا","translation":"Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, \"Oh, I wish that I were dust","transliteration":"Inna antharnakum AAathaban qareeban yawma yanthuru almaro ma qaddamat yadahu wayaqoolu alkafiru ya laytanee kuntu turaban"}]}
