{"id":71,"name":"نوح","transliteration":"Nuh","translation":"Noah","type":"meccan","total_verses":28,"verses":[{"id":1,"text":"إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَنۡ أَنذِرۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ","translation":"Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], \"Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment","transliteration":"Inna arsalna noohan ila qawmihi an anthir qawmaka min qabli an yatiyahum AAathabun aleemun"},{"id":2,"text":"قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ","translation":"He said, \"O my people, indeed I am to you a clear warner","transliteration":"Qala ya qawmi innee lakum natheerun mubeenun"},{"id":3,"text":"أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"[Saying], 'Worship Allah, fear Him and obey me","transliteration":"Ani oAAbudoo Allaha waittaqoohu waateeAAooni"},{"id":4,"text":"يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۚ لَوۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew","transliteration":"Yaghfir lakum min thunoobikum wayuakhkhirkum ila ajalin musamman inna ajala Allahi itha jaa la yuakhkharu law kuntum taAAlamoona"},{"id":5,"text":"قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُ قَوۡمِي لَيۡلٗا وَنَهَارٗا","translation":"He said, \"My Lord, indeed I invited my people [to truth] night and day","transliteration":"Qala rabbi innee daAAawtu qawmee laylan wanaharan"},{"id":6,"text":"فَلَمۡ يَزِدۡهُمۡ دُعَآءِيٓ إِلَّا فِرَارٗا","translation":"But my invitation increased them not except in flight","transliteration":"Falam yazidhum duAAaee illa firaran"},{"id":7,"text":"وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ لِتَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ جَعَلُوٓاْ أَصَٰبِعَهُمۡ فِيٓ ءَاذَانِهِمۡ وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡاْ ثِيَابَهُمۡ وَأَصَرُّواْ وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا","translation":"And indeed, every time I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance","transliteration":"Wainnee kullama daAAawtuhum litaghfira lahum jaAAaloo asabiAAahum fee athanihim waistaghshaw thiyabahum waasarroo waistakbaroo istikbaran"},{"id":8,"text":"ثُمَّ إِنِّي دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ جِهَارٗا","translation":"Then I invited them publicly","transliteration":"Thumma innee daAAawtuhum jiharan"},{"id":9,"text":"ثُمَّ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَنتُ لَهُمۡ وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِسۡرَارٗا","translation":"Then I announced to them and [also] confided to them secretly","transliteration":"Thumma innee aAAlantu lahum waasrartu lahum israran"},{"id":10,"text":"فَقُلۡتُ ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمۡ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارٗا","translation":"And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver","transliteration":"Faqultu istaghfiroo rabbakum innahu kana ghaffaran"},{"id":11,"text":"يُرۡسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّدۡرَارٗا","translation":"He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers","transliteration":"Yursili alssamaa AAalaykum midraran"},{"id":12,"text":"وَيُمۡدِدۡكُم بِأَمۡوَٰلٖ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتٖ وَيَجۡعَل لَّكُمۡ أَنۡهَٰرٗا","translation":"And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers","transliteration":"Wayumdidkum biamwalin wabaneena wayajAAal lakum jannatin wayajAAal lakum anharan"},{"id":13,"text":"مَّا لَكُمۡ لَا تَرۡجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارٗا","translation":"What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur","transliteration":"Ma lakum la tarjoona lillahi waqaran"},{"id":14,"text":"وَقَدۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ أَطۡوَارًا","translation":"While He has created you in stages","transliteration":"Waqad khalaqakum atwaran"},{"id":15,"text":"أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡاْ كَيۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٖ طِبَاقٗا","translation":"Do you not consider how Allah has created seven heavens in layers","transliteration":"Alam taraw kayfa khalaqa Allahu sabAAa samawatin tibaqan"},{"id":16,"text":"وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورٗا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجٗا","translation":"And made the moon therein a [reflected] light and made the sun a burning lamp","transliteration":"WajaAAala alqamara feehinna nooran wajaAAala alshshamsa sirajan"},{"id":17,"text":"وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ نَبَاتٗا","translation":"And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth","transliteration":"WaAllahu anbatakum mina alardi nabatan"},{"id":18,"text":"ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمۡ فِيهَا وَيُخۡرِجُكُمۡ إِخۡرَاجٗا","translation":"Then He will return you into it and extract you [another] extraction","transliteration":"Thumma yuAAeedukum feeha wayukhrijukum ikhrajan"},{"id":19,"text":"وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطٗا","translation":"And Allah has made for you the earth an expanse","transliteration":"WaAllahu jaAAala lakumu alarda bisatan"},{"id":20,"text":"لِّتَسۡلُكُواْ مِنۡهَا سُبُلٗا فِجَاجٗا","translation":"That you may follow therein roads of passage","transliteration":"Litaslukoo minha subulan fijajan"},{"id":21,"text":"قَالَ نُوحٞ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِي وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَن لَّمۡ يَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥٓ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا","translation":"Noah said, \"My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss","transliteration":"Qala noohun rabbi innahum AAasawnee waittabaAAoo man lam yazidhu maluhu wawaladuhu illa khasaran"},{"id":22,"text":"وَمَكَرُواْ مَكۡرٗا كُبَّارٗا","translation":"And they conspired an immense conspiracy","transliteration":"Wamakaroo makran kubbaran"},{"id":23,"text":"وَقَالُواْ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدّٗا وَلَا سُوَاعٗا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرٗا","translation":"And said, 'Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa' or Yaghuth and Ya'uq and Nasr","transliteration":"Waqaloo la tatharunna alihatakum wala tatharunna waddan wala suwaAAan wala yaghootha wayaAAooqa wanasran"},{"id":24,"text":"وَقَدۡ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرٗاۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَٰلٗا","translation":"And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error","transliteration":"Waqad adalloo katheeran wala tazidi alththalimeena illa dalalan"},{"id":25,"text":"مِّمَّا خَطِيٓـَٰٔتِهِمۡ أُغۡرِقُواْ فَأُدۡخِلُواْ نَارٗا فَلَمۡ يَجِدُواْ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَنصَارٗا","translation":"Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers","transliteration":"Mimma khateeatihim oghriqoo faodkhiloo naran falam yajidoo lahum min dooni Allahi ansaran"},{"id":26,"text":"وَقَالَ نُوحٞ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا","translation":"And Noah said, \"My Lord, do not leave upon the earth from among the disbelievers an inhabitant","transliteration":"Waqala noohun rabbi la tathar AAala alardi mina alkafireena dayyaran"},{"id":27,"text":"إِنَّكَ إِن تَذَرۡهُمۡ يُضِلُّواْ عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوٓاْ إِلَّا فَاجِرٗا كَفَّارٗا","translation":"Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever","transliteration":"Innaka in tatharhum yudilloo AAibadaka wala yalidoo illa fajiran kaffaran"},{"id":28,"text":"رَّبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيۡتِيَ مُؤۡمِنٗا وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارَۢا","translation":"My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction","transliteration":"Rabbi ighfir lee waliwalidayya waliman dakhala baytiya muminan walilmumineena waalmuminati wala tazidi alththalimeena illa tabaran"}]}
