{"id":52,"name":"الطور","transliteration":"At-Tur","translation":"The Mount","type":"meccan","total_verses":49,"verses":[{"id":1,"text":"وَٱلطُّورِ","translation":"By the mount","transliteration":"Waalttoori"},{"id":2,"text":"وَكِتَٰبٖ مَّسۡطُورٖ","translation":"And [by] a Book inscribed","transliteration":"Wakitabin mastoorin"},{"id":3,"text":"فِي رَقّٖ مَّنشُورٖ","translation":"In parchment spread open","transliteration":"Fee raqqin manshoorin"},{"id":4,"text":"وَٱلۡبَيۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡمُورِ","translation":"And [by] the frequented House","transliteration":"Waalbayti almaAAmoori"},{"id":5,"text":"وَٱلسَّقۡفِ ٱلۡمَرۡفُوعِ","translation":"And [by] the heaven raised high","transliteration":"Waalssaqfi almarfooAAi"},{"id":6,"text":"وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ ٱلۡمَسۡجُورِ","translation":"And [by] the sea filled [with fire]","transliteration":"Waalbahri almasjoori"},{"id":7,"text":"إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٞ","translation":"Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur","transliteration":"Inna AAathaba rabbika lawaqiAAun"},{"id":8,"text":"مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٖ","translation":"Of it there is no preventer","transliteration":"Ma lahu min dafiAAin"},{"id":9,"text":"يَوۡمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوۡرٗا","translation":"On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion","transliteration":"Yawma tamooru alssamao mawran"},{"id":10,"text":"وَتَسِيرُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ سَيۡرٗا","translation":"And the mountains will pass on, departing","transliteration":"Wataseeru aljibalu sayran"},{"id":11,"text":"فَوَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ","translation":"Then woe, that Day, to the deniers","transliteration":"Fawaylun yawmaithin lilmukaththibeena"},{"id":12,"text":"ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ فِي خَوۡضٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ","translation":"Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves","transliteration":"Allatheena hum fee khawdin yalAAaboona"},{"id":13,"text":"يَوۡمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا","translation":"The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say]","transliteration":"Yawma yudaAAAAoona ila nari jahannama daAAAAan"},{"id":14,"text":"هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ","translation":"This is the Fire which you used to deny","transliteration":"Hathihi alnnaru allatee kuntum biha tukaththiboona"},{"id":15,"text":"أَفَسِحۡرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا تُبۡصِرُونَ","translation":"Then is this magic, or do you not see","transliteration":"Afasihrun hatha am antum la tubsiroona"},{"id":16,"text":"ٱصۡلَوۡهَا فَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْ أَوۡ لَا تَصۡبِرُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ إِنَّمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do","transliteration":"Islawha faisbiroo aw la tasbiroo sawaon AAalaykum innama tujzawna ma kuntum taAAmaloona"},{"id":17,"text":"إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَنَعِيمٖ","translation":"Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure","transliteration":"Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin wanaAAeemin"},{"id":18,"text":"فَٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire","transliteration":"Fakiheena bima atahum rabbuhum wawaqahum rabbuhum AAathaba aljaheemi"},{"id":19,"text":"كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"[They will be told], \"Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do","transliteration":"Kuloo waishraboo haneean bima kuntum taAAmaloona"},{"id":20,"text":"مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّصۡفُوفَةٖۖ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ","translation":"They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes","transliteration":"Muttakieena AAala sururin masfoofatin wazawwajnahum bihoorin AAeenin"},{"id":21,"text":"وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّبَعَتۡهُمۡ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَٰنٍ أَلۡحَقۡنَا بِهِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡ وَمَآ أَلَتۡنَٰهُم مِّنۡ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيِٕۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٞ","translation":"And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained","transliteration":"Waallatheena amanoo waittabaAAathum thurriyyatuhum bieemanin alhaqna bihim thurriyyatahum wama alatnahum min AAamalihim min shayin kullu imriin bima kasaba raheenun"},{"id":22,"text":"وَأَمۡدَدۡنَٰهُم بِفَٰكِهَةٖ وَلَحۡمٖ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ","translation":"And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire","transliteration":"Waamdadnahum bifakihatin walahmin mimma yashtahoona"},{"id":23,"text":"يَتَنَٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأۡسٗا لَّا لَغۡوٞ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأۡثِيمٞ","translation":"They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin","transliteration":"YatanazaAAoona feeha kasan la laghwun feeha wala tatheemun"},{"id":24,"text":"۞وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غِلۡمَانٞ لَّهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لُؤۡلُؤٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ","translation":"There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected","transliteration":"Wayatoofu AAalayhim ghilmanun lahum kaannahum luluon maknoonun"},{"id":25,"text":"وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ","translation":"And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other","transliteration":"Waaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona"},{"id":26,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ","translation":"They will say, \"Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allah]","transliteration":"Qaloo inna kunna qablu fee ahlina mushfiqeena"},{"id":27,"text":"فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ","translation":"So Allah conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire","transliteration":"Famanna Allahu AAalayna wawaqana AAathaba alssamoomi"},{"id":28,"text":"إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبۡلُ نَدۡعُوهُۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful","transliteration":"Inna kunna min qablu nadAAoohu innahu huwa albarru alrraheemu"},{"id":29,"text":"فَذَكِّرۡ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٖ وَلَا مَجۡنُونٍ","translation":"So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman","transliteration":"Fathakkir fama anta biniAAmati rabbika bikahin wala majnoonin"},{"id":30,"text":"أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٞ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيۡبَ ٱلۡمَنُونِ","translation":"Or do they say [of you], \"A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time","transliteration":"Am yaqooloona shaAAirun natarabbasu bihi rayba almanooni"},{"id":31,"text":"قُلۡ تَرَبَّصُواْ فَإِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُتَرَبِّصِينَ","translation":"Say, \"Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters","transliteration":"Qul tarabbasoo fainnee maAAakum mina almutarabbiseena"},{"id":32,"text":"أَمۡ تَأۡمُرُهُمۡ أَحۡلَٰمُهُم بِهَٰذَآۚ أَمۡ هُمۡ قَوۡمٞ طَاغُونَ","translation":"Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people","transliteration":"Am tamuruhum ahlamuhum bihatha am hum qawmun taghoona"},{"id":33,"text":"أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥۚ بَل لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ","translation":"Or do they say, \"He has made it up\"? Rather, they do not believe","transliteration":"Am yaqooloona taqawwalahu bal la yuminoona"},{"id":34,"text":"فَلۡيَأۡتُواْ بِحَدِيثٖ مِّثۡلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُواْ صَٰدِقِينَ","translation":"Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful","transliteration":"Falyatoo bihadeethin mithlihi in kanoo sadiqeena"},{"id":35,"text":"أَمۡ خُلِقُواْ مِنۡ غَيۡرِ شَيۡءٍ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقُونَ","translation":"Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]","transliteration":"Am khuliqoo min ghayri shayin am humu alkhaliqoona"},{"id":36,"text":"أَمۡ خَلَقُواْ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ","translation":"Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain","transliteration":"Am khalaqoo alssamawati waalarda bal la yooqinoona"},{"id":37,"text":"أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡمُصَۜيۡطِرُونَ","translation":"Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]","transliteration":"Am AAindahum khazainu rabbika am humu almusaytiroona"},{"id":38,"text":"أَمۡ لَهُمۡ سُلَّمٞ يَسۡتَمِعُونَ فِيهِۖ فَلۡيَأۡتِ مُسۡتَمِعُهُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٍ","translation":"Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority","transliteration":"Am lahum sullamun yastamiAAoona feehi falyati mustamiAAuhum bisultanin mubeenin"},{"id":39,"text":"أَمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡبَنَٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ","translation":"Or has He daughters while you have sons","transliteration":"Am lahu albanatu walakumu albanoona"},{"id":40,"text":"أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ أَجۡرٗا فَهُم مِّن مَّغۡرَمٖ مُّثۡقَلُونَ","translation":"Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down","transliteration":"Am tasaluhum ajran fahum min maghramin muthqaloona"},{"id":41,"text":"أَمۡ عِندَهُمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبُ فَهُمۡ يَكۡتُبُونَ","translation":"Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down","transliteration":"Am AAindahumu alghaybu fahum yaktuboona"},{"id":42,"text":"أَمۡ يُرِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗاۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡمَكِيدُونَ","translation":"Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan","transliteration":"Am yureedoona kaydan faallatheena kafaroo humu almakeedoona"},{"id":43,"text":"أَمۡ لَهُمۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ","translation":"Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him","transliteration":"Am lahum ilahun ghayru Allahi subhana Allahi AAamma yushrikoona"},{"id":44,"text":"وَإِن يَرَوۡاْ كِسۡفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطٗا يَقُولُواْ سَحَابٞ مَّرۡكُومٞ","translation":"And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, \"[It is merely] clouds heaped up","transliteration":"Wain yaraw kisfan mina alssamai saqitan yaqooloo sahabun markoomun"},{"id":45,"text":"فَذَرۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يُلَٰقُواْ يَوۡمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ يُصۡعَقُونَ","translation":"So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible","transliteration":"Fatharhum hatta yulaqoo yawmahumu allathee feehi yusAAaqoona"},{"id":46,"text":"يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُمۡ كَيۡدُهُمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ","translation":"The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped","transliteration":"Yawma la yughnee AAanhum kayduhum shayan wala hum yunsaroona"},{"id":47,"text":"وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ عَذَابٗا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know","transliteration":"Wainna lillatheena thalamoo AAathaban doona thalika walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona"},{"id":48,"text":"وَٱصۡبِرۡ لِحُكۡمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعۡيُنِنَاۖ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ","translation":"And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise","transliteration":"Waisbir lihukmi rabbika fainnaka biaAAyunina wasabbih bihamdi rabbika heena taqoomu"},{"id":49,"text":"وَمِنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَإِدۡبَٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ","translation":"And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars","transliteration":"Wamina allayli fasabbihhu waidbara alnnujoomi"}]}
