{"id":37,"name":"الصافات","transliteration":"As-Saffat","translation":"Those who set the Ranks","type":"meccan","total_verses":182,"verses":[{"id":1,"text":"وَٱلصَّـٰٓفَّـٰتِ صَفّٗا","translation":"By those [angels] lined up in rows","transliteration":"Waalssaffati saffan"},{"id":2,"text":"فَٱلزَّـٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرٗا","translation":"And those who drive [the clouds]","transliteration":"Faalzzajirati zajran"},{"id":3,"text":"فَٱلتَّـٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا","translation":"And those who recite the message","transliteration":"Faalttaliyati thikran"},{"id":4,"text":"إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمۡ لَوَٰحِدٞ","translation":"Indeed, your God is One","transliteration":"Inna ilahakum lawahidun"},{"id":5,"text":"رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ","translation":"Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises","transliteration":"Rabbu alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma warabbu almashariqi"},{"id":6,"text":"إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِ","translation":"Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars","transliteration":"Inna zayyanna alssamaa alddunya bizeenatin alkawakibi"},{"id":7,"text":"وَحِفۡظٗا مِّن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ مَّارِدٖ","translation":"And as protection against every rebellious devil","transliteration":"Wahifthan min kulli shaytanin maridin"},{"id":8,"text":"لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ","translation":"[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side","transliteration":"La yassammaAAoona ila almalai alaAAla wayuqthafoona min kulli janibin"},{"id":9,"text":"دُحُورٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ وَاصِبٌ","translation":"Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment","transliteration":"Duhooran walahum AAathabun wasibun"},{"id":10,"text":"إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ ثَاقِبٞ","translation":"Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]","transliteration":"Illa man khatifa alkhatfata faatbaAAahu shihabun thaqibun"},{"id":11,"text":"فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭ","translation":"Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], \"Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?\" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay","transliteration":"Faistaftihim ahum ashaddu khalqan am man khalaqna inna khalaqnahum min teenin lazibin"},{"id":12,"text":"بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ","translation":"But you wonder, while they mock","transliteration":"Bal AAajibta wayaskharoona"},{"id":13,"text":"وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ","translation":"And when they are reminded, they remember not","transliteration":"Waitha thukkiroo la yathkuroona"},{"id":14,"text":"وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ","translation":"And when they see a sign, they ridicule","transliteration":"Waitha raaw ayatan yastaskhiroona"},{"id":15,"text":"وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ","translation":"And say, \"This is not but obvious magic","transliteration":"Waqaloo in hatha illa sihrun mubeenun"},{"id":16,"text":"أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ","translation":"When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected","transliteration":"Aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamabAAoothoona"},{"id":17,"text":"أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ","translation":"And our forefathers [as well]","transliteration":"Awaabaona alawwaloona"},{"id":18,"text":"قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ","translation":"Say, \"Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible","transliteration":"Qul naAAam waantum dakhiroona"},{"id":19,"text":"فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ","translation":"It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing","transliteration":"Fainnama hiya zajratun wahidatun faitha hum yanthuroona"},{"id":20,"text":"وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ","translation":"They will say, \"O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense","transliteration":"Waqaloo ya waylana hatha yawmu alddeeni"},{"id":21,"text":"هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ","translation":"[They will be told], \"This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny","transliteration":"Hatha yawmu alfasli allathee kuntum bihi tukaththiboona"},{"id":22,"text":"۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ","translation":"[The angels will be ordered], \"Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship","transliteration":"Ohshuroo allatheena thalamoo waazwajahum wama kanoo yaAAbudoona"},{"id":23,"text":"مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"Other than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire","transliteration":"Min dooni Allahi faihdoohum ila sirati aljaheemi"},{"id":24,"text":"وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ","translation":"And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned","transliteration":"Waqifoohum innahum masooloona"},{"id":25,"text":"مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ","translation":"[They will be asked], \"What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other","transliteration":"Ma lakum la tanasaroona"},{"id":26,"text":"بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ","translation":"But they, that Day, are in surrender","transliteration":"Bal humu alyawma mustaslimoona"},{"id":27,"text":"وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ","translation":"And they will approach one another blaming each other","transliteration":"Waaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona"},{"id":28,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ","translation":"They will say, \"Indeed, you used to come at us from the right","transliteration":"Qaloo innakum kuntum tatoonana AAani alyameeni"},{"id":29,"text":"قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"The oppressors will say, \"Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers","transliteration":"Qaloo bal lam takoonoo mumineena"},{"id":30,"text":"وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ بَلۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا طَٰغِينَ","translation":"And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people","transliteration":"Wama kana lana AAalaykum min sultanin bal kuntum qawman tagheena"},{"id":31,"text":"فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ","translation":"So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]","transliteration":"Fahaqqa AAalayna qawlu rabbina inna lathaiqoona"},{"id":32,"text":"فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ","translation":"And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators","transliteration":"Faaghwaynakum inna kunna ghaweena"},{"id":33,"text":"فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَ","translation":"So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment","transliteration":"Fainnahum yawmaithin fee alAAathabi mushtarikoona"},{"id":34,"text":"إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ","translation":"Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals","transliteration":"Inna kathalika nafAAalu bialmujrimeena"},{"id":35,"text":"إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ","translation":"Indeed they, when it was said to them, \"There is no deity but Allah,\" were arrogant","transliteration":"Innahum kanoo itha qeela lahum la ilaha illa Allahu yastakbiroona"},{"id":36,"text":"وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٖ مَّجۡنُونِۭ","translation":"And were saying, \"Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet","transliteration":"Wayaqooloona ainna latarikoo alihatina lishaAAirin majnoonin"},{"id":37,"text":"بَلۡ جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers","transliteration":"Bal jaa bialhaqqi wasaddaqa almursaleena"},{"id":38,"text":"إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِ","translation":"Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment","transliteration":"Innakum lathaiqoo alAAathabi alaleemi"},{"id":39,"text":"وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do","transliteration":"Wama tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona"},{"id":40,"text":"إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ","translation":"But not the chosen servants of Allah","transliteration":"Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena"},{"id":41,"text":"أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ","translation":"Those will have a provision determined","transliteration":"Olaika lahum rizqun maAAloomun"},{"id":42,"text":"فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَ","translation":"Fruits; and they will be honored","transliteration":"Fawakihu wahum mukramoona"},{"id":43,"text":"فِي جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ","translation":"In gardens of pleasure","transliteration":"Fee jannati alnnaAAeemi"},{"id":44,"text":"عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ","translation":"On thrones facing one another","transliteration":"AAala sururin mutaqabileena"},{"id":45,"text":"يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينِۭ","translation":"There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring","transliteration":"Yutafu AAalayhim bikasin min maAAeenin"},{"id":46,"text":"بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَ","translation":"White and delicious to the drinkers","transliteration":"Baydaa laththatin lilshsharibeena"},{"id":47,"text":"لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَ","translation":"No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated","transliteration":"La feeha ghawlun wala hum AAanha yunzafoona"},{"id":48,"text":"وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينٞ","translation":"And with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes","transliteration":"WaAAindahum qasiratu alttarfi AAeenun"},{"id":49,"text":"كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضٞ مَّكۡنُونٞ","translation":"As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected","transliteration":"Kaannahunna baydun maknoonun"},{"id":50,"text":"فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ","translation":"And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other","transliteration":"Faaqbala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin yatasaaloona"},{"id":51,"text":"قَالَ قَآئِلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٞ","translation":"A speaker among them will say, \"Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]","transliteration":"Qala qailun minhum innee kana lee qareenun"},{"id":52,"text":"يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَ","translation":"Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe","transliteration":"Yaqoolu ainnaka lamina almusaddiqeena"},{"id":53,"text":"أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ","translation":"That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed","transliteration":"Aitha mitna wakunna turaban waAAithaman ainna lamadeenoona"},{"id":54,"text":"قَالَ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ","translation":"He will say, \"Would you [care to] look","transliteration":"Qala hal antum muttaliAAoona"},{"id":55,"text":"فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire","transliteration":"FaittalaAAa faraahu fee sawai aljaheemi"},{"id":56,"text":"قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِ","translation":"He will say, \"By Allah, you almost ruined me","transliteration":"Qala taAllahi in kidta laturdeeni"},{"id":57,"text":"وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ","translation":"If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]","transliteration":"Walawla niAAmatu rabbee lakuntu mina almuhdareena"},{"id":58,"text":"أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ","translation":"Then, are we not to die","transliteration":"Afama nahnu bimayyiteena"},{"id":59,"text":"إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ","translation":"Except for our first death, and we will not be punished","transliteration":"Illa mawtatana aloola wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena"},{"id":60,"text":"إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ","translation":"Indeed, this is the great attainment","transliteration":"Inna hatha lahuwa alfawzu alAAatheemu"},{"id":61,"text":"لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَ","translation":"For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work","transliteration":"Limithli hatha falyaAAmali alAAamiloona"},{"id":62,"text":"أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ","translation":"Is Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum","transliteration":"Athalika khayrun nuzulan am shajaratu alzzaqqoomi"},{"id":63,"text":"إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلظَّـٰلِمِينَ","translation":"Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers","transliteration":"Inna jaAAalnaha fitnatan lilththalimeena"},{"id":64,"text":"إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire","transliteration":"Innaha shajaratun takhruju fee asli aljaheemi"},{"id":65,"text":"طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ","translation":"Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils","transliteration":"TalAAuha kaannahu ruoosu alshshayateeni"},{"id":66,"text":"فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ","translation":"And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies","transliteration":"Fainnahum laakiloona minha famalioona minha albutoona"},{"id":67,"text":"ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ","translation":"Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water","transliteration":"Thumma inna lahum AAalayha lashawban min hameemin"},{"id":68,"text":"ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire","transliteration":"Thumma inna marjiAAahum laila aljaheemi"},{"id":69,"text":"إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَ","translation":"Indeed they found their fathers astray","transliteration":"Innahum alfaw abaahum dalleena"},{"id":70,"text":"فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَ","translation":"So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps","transliteration":"Fahum AAala atharihim yuhraAAoona"},{"id":71,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples","transliteration":"Walaqad dalla qablahum aktharu alawwaleena"},{"id":72,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ","translation":"And We had already sent among them warners","transliteration":"Walaqad arsalna feehim munthireena"},{"id":73,"text":"فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ","translation":"Then look how was the end of those who were warned","transliteration":"Faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu almunthareena"},{"id":74,"text":"إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ","translation":"But not the chosen servants of Allah","transliteration":"Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena"},{"id":75,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَ","translation":"And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders","transliteration":"Walaqad nadana noohun falaniAAma almujeeboona"},{"id":76,"text":"وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ","translation":"And We saved him and his family from the great affliction","transliteration":"Wanajjaynahu waahlahu mina alkarbi alAAatheemi"},{"id":77,"text":"وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ","translation":"And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]","transliteration":"WajaAAalna thurriyyatahu humu albaqeena"},{"id":78,"text":"وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ","translation":"And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations","transliteration":"Watarakna AAalayhi fee alakhireena"},{"id":79,"text":"سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٖ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"Peace upon Noah among the worlds","transliteration":"Salamun AAala noohin fee alAAalameena"},{"id":80,"text":"إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good","transliteration":"Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena"},{"id":81,"text":"إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, he was of Our believing servants","transliteration":"Innahu min AAibadina almumineena"},{"id":82,"text":"ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ","translation":"Then We drowned the disbelievers","transliteration":"Thumma aghraqna alakhareena"},{"id":83,"text":"۞وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ","translation":"And indeed, among his kind was Abraham","transliteration":"Wainna min sheeAAatihi laibraheema"},{"id":84,"text":"إِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلۡبٖ سَلِيمٍ","translation":"When he came to his Lord with a sound heart","transliteration":"Ith jaa rabbahu biqalbin saleemin"},{"id":85,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ","translation":"[And] when he said to his father and his people, \"What do you worship","transliteration":"Ith qala liabeehi waqawmihi matha taAAbudoona"},{"id":86,"text":"أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةٗ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ","translation":"Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire","transliteration":"Aifkan alihatan doona Allahi tureedoona"},{"id":87,"text":"فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Fama thannukum birabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":88,"text":"فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةٗ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِ","translation":"And he cast a look at the stars","transliteration":"Fanathara nathratan fee alnnujoomi"},{"id":89,"text":"فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٞ","translation":"And said, \"Indeed, I am [about to be] ill","transliteration":"Faqala innee saqeemun"},{"id":90,"text":"فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَ","translation":"So they turned away from him, departing","transliteration":"Fatawallaw AAanhu mudbireena"},{"id":91,"text":"فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَ","translation":"Then he turned to their gods and said, \"Do you not eat","transliteration":"Faragha ila alihatihim faqala ala takuloona"},{"id":92,"text":"مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَ","translation":"What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak","transliteration":"Ma lakum la tantiqoona"},{"id":93,"text":"فَرَاغَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضَرۡبَۢا بِٱلۡيَمِينِ","translation":"And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand","transliteration":"Faragha AAalayhim darban bialyameeni"},{"id":94,"text":"فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يَزِفُّونَ","translation":"Then the people came toward him, hastening","transliteration":"Faaqbaloo ilayhi yaziffoona"},{"id":95,"text":"قَالَ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مَا تَنۡحِتُونَ","translation":"He said, \"Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve","transliteration":"Qala ataAAbudoona ma tanhitoona"},{"id":96,"text":"وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"While Allah created you and that which you do","transliteration":"WaAllahu khalaqakum wama taAAmaloona"},{"id":97,"text":"قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنٗا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"They said, \"Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire","transliteration":"Qaloo ibnoo lahu bunyanan faalqoohu fee aljaheemi"},{"id":98,"text":"فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَ","translation":"And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased","transliteration":"Faaradoo bihi kaydan fajaAAalnahumu alasfaleena"},{"id":99,"text":"وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ","translation":"And [then] he said, \"Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me","transliteration":"Waqala innee thahibun ila rabbee sayahdeeni"},{"id":100,"text":"رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ","translation":"My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous","transliteration":"Rabbi hab lee mina alssaliheena"},{"id":101,"text":"فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٖ","translation":"So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy","transliteration":"Fabashsharnahu bighulamin haleemin"},{"id":102,"text":"فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعۡيَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡمَنَامِ أَنِّيٓ أَذۡبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرَىٰۚ قَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ","translation":"And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, \"O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think.\" He said, \"O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast","transliteration":"Falamma balagha maAAahu alssaAAya qala ya bunayya innee ara fee almanami annee athbahuka faonthur matha tara qala ya abati ifAAal ma tumaru satajidunee in shaa Allahu mina alssabireena"},{"id":103,"text":"فَلَمَّآ أَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلۡجَبِينِ","translation":"And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead","transliteration":"Falamma aslama watallahu liljabeeni"},{"id":104,"text":"وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ أَن يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ","translation":"We called to him, \"O Abraham","transliteration":"Wanadaynahu an ya ibraheemu"},{"id":105,"text":"قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ ٱلرُّءۡيَآۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ","translation":"You have fulfilled the vision.\" Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good","transliteration":"Qad saddaqta alrruya inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena"},{"id":106,"text":"إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡمُبِينُ","translation":"Indeed, this was the clear trial","transliteration":"Inna hatha lahuwa albalao almubeenu"},{"id":107,"text":"وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمٖ","translation":"And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice","transliteration":"Wafadaynahu bithibhin AAatheemin"},{"id":108,"text":"وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ","translation":"And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations","transliteration":"Watarakna AAalayhi fee alakhireena"},{"id":109,"text":"سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ","translation":"Peace upon Abraham","transliteration":"Salamun AAala ibraheema"},{"id":110,"text":"كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good","transliteration":"Kathalika najzee almuhsineena"},{"id":111,"text":"إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, he was of Our believing servants","transliteration":"Innahu min AAibadina almumineena"},{"id":112,"text":"وَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِإِسۡحَٰقَ نَبِيّٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ","translation":"And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous","transliteration":"Wabashsharnahu biishaqa nabiyyan mina alssaliheena"},{"id":113,"text":"وَبَٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسۡحَٰقَۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنٞ وَظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ مُبِينٞ","translation":"And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself","transliteration":"Wabarakna AAalayhi waAAala ishaqa wamin thurriyyatihima muhsinun wathalimun linafsihi mubeenun"},{"id":114,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ","translation":"And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron","transliteration":"Walaqad mananna AAala moosa waharoona"},{"id":115,"text":"وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ","translation":"And We saved them and their people from the great affliction","transliteration":"Wanajjaynahuma waqawmahuma mina alkarbi alAAatheemi"},{"id":116,"text":"وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ","translation":"And We supported them so it was they who overcame","transliteration":"Wanasarnahum fakanoo humu alghalibeena"},{"id":117,"text":"وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَبِينَ","translation":"And We gave them the explicit Scripture","transliteration":"Waataynahuma alkitaba almustabeena"},{"id":118,"text":"وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ","translation":"And We guided them on the straight path","transliteration":"Wahadaynahuma alssirata almustaqeema"},{"id":119,"text":"وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ","translation":"And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations","transliteration":"Watarakna AAalayhima fee alakhireena"},{"id":120,"text":"سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ","translation":"Peace upon Moses and Aaron","transliteration":"Salamun AAala moosa waharoona"},{"id":121,"text":"إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good","transliteration":"Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena"},{"id":122,"text":"إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, they were of Our believing servants","transliteration":"Innahuma min AAibadina almumineena"},{"id":123,"text":"وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers","transliteration":"Wainna ilyasa lamina almursaleena"},{"id":124,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ","translation":"When he said to his people, \"Will you not fear Allah","transliteration":"Ith qala liqawmihi ala tattaqoona"},{"id":125,"text":"أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلٗا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَ","translation":"Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators","transliteration":"AtadAAoona baAAlan watatharoona ahsana alkhaliqeena"},{"id":126,"text":"ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers","transliteration":"Allaha rabbakum warabba abaikumu alawwaleena"},{"id":127,"text":"فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ","translation":"And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment]","transliteration":"Fakaththaboohu fainnahum lamuhdaroona"},{"id":128,"text":"إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ","translation":"Except the chosen servants of Allah","transliteration":"Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena"},{"id":129,"text":"وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ","translation":"And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations","transliteration":"Watarakna AAalayhi fee alakhireena"},{"id":130,"text":"سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلۡ يَاسِينَ","translation":"Peace upon Elias","transliteration":"Salamun AAala il yaseena"},{"id":131,"text":"إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good","transliteration":"Inna kathalika najzee almuhsineena"},{"id":132,"text":"إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, he was of Our believing servants","transliteration":"Innahu min AAibadina almumineena"},{"id":133,"text":"وَإِنَّ لُوطٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"And indeed, Lot was among the messengers","transliteration":"Wainna lootan lamina almursaleena"},{"id":134,"text":"إِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all","transliteration":"Ith najjaynahu waahlahu ajmaAAeena"},{"id":135,"text":"إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ","translation":"Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]","transliteration":"Illa AAajoozan fee alghabireena"},{"id":136,"text":"ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ","translation":"Then We destroyed the others","transliteration":"Thumma dammarna alakhareena"},{"id":137,"text":"وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَ","translation":"And indeed, you pass by them in the morning","transliteration":"Wainnakum latamurroona AAalayhim musbiheena"},{"id":138,"text":"وَبِٱلَّيۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ","translation":"And at night. Then will you not use reason","transliteration":"Wabiallayli afala taAAqiloona"},{"id":139,"text":"وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers","transliteration":"Wainna yoonusa lamina almursaleena"},{"id":140,"text":"إِذۡ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ","translation":"[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship","transliteration":"Ith abaqa ila alfulki almashhooni"},{"id":141,"text":"فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُدۡحَضِينَ","translation":"And he drew lots and was among the losers","transliteration":"Fasahama fakana mina almudhadeena"},{"id":142,"text":"فَٱلۡتَقَمَهُ ٱلۡحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞ","translation":"Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy","transliteration":"Failtaqamahu alhootu wahuwa muleemun"},{"id":143,"text":"فَلَوۡلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحِينَ","translation":"And had he not been of those who exalt Allah","transliteration":"Falawla annahu kana mina almusabbiheena"},{"id":144,"text":"لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطۡنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ","translation":"He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected","transliteration":"Lalabitha fee batnihi ila yawmi yubAAathoona"},{"id":145,"text":"۞فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٞ","translation":"But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill","transliteration":"Fanabathnahu bialAAarai wahuwa saqeemun"},{"id":146,"text":"وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةٗ مِّن يَقۡطِينٖ","translation":"And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine","transliteration":"Waanbatna AAalayhi shajaratan min yaqteenin"},{"id":147,"text":"وَأَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِاْئَةِ أَلۡفٍ أَوۡ يَزِيدُونَ","translation":"And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more","transliteration":"Waarsalnahu ila miati alfin aw yazeedoona"},{"id":148,"text":"فَـَٔامَنُواْ فَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ","translation":"And they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time","transliteration":"Faamanoo famattaAAnahum ila heenin"},{"id":149,"text":"فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَ","translation":"So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], \"Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons","transliteration":"Faistaftihim alirabbika albanatu walahumu albanoona"},{"id":150,"text":"أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثٗا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَ","translation":"Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses","transliteration":"Am khalaqna almalaikata inathan wahum shahidoona"},{"id":151,"text":"أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ","translation":"Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say","transliteration":"Ala innahum min ifkihim layaqooloona"},{"id":152,"text":"وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَ","translation":"Allah has begotten,\" and indeed, they are liars","transliteration":"Walada Allahu wainnahum lakathiboona"},{"id":153,"text":"أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ","translation":"Has He chosen daughters over sons","transliteration":"Astafa albanati AAala albaneena"},{"id":154,"text":"مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَ","translation":"What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement","transliteration":"Ma lakum kayfa tahkumoona"},{"id":155,"text":"أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ","translation":"Then will you not be reminded","transliteration":"Afala tathakkaroona"},{"id":156,"text":"أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞ","translation":"Or do you have a clear authority","transliteration":"Am lakum sultanun mubeenun"},{"id":157,"text":"فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ","translation":"Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful","transliteration":"Fatoo bikitabikum in kuntum sadiqeena"},{"id":158,"text":"وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ","translation":"And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]","transliteration":"WajaAAaloo baynahu wabayna aljinnati nasaban walaqad AAalimati aljinnatu innahum lamuhdaroona"},{"id":159,"text":"سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ","translation":"Exalted is Allah above what they describe","transliteration":"Subhana Allahi AAamma yasifoona"},{"id":160,"text":"إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ","translation":"Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]","transliteration":"Illa AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena"},{"id":161,"text":"فَإِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ","translation":"So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship","transliteration":"Fainnakum wama taAAbudoona"},{"id":162,"text":"مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ","translation":"You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him","transliteration":"Ma antum AAalayhi bifatineena"},{"id":163,"text":"إِلَّا مَنۡ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ","translation":"Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire","transliteration":"Illa man huwa sali aljaheemi"},{"id":164,"text":"وَمَامِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ","translation":"[The angels say], \"There is not among us any except that he has a known position","transliteration":"Wama minna illa lahu maqamun maAAloomun"},{"id":165,"text":"وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ","translation":"And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]","transliteration":"Wainna lanahnu alssaffoona"},{"id":166,"text":"وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَ","translation":"And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah","transliteration":"Wainna lanahnu almusabbihoona"},{"id":167,"text":"وَإِن كَانُواْ لَيَقُولُونَ","translation":"And indeed, the disbelievers used to say","transliteration":"Wain kanoo layaqooloona"},{"id":168,"text":"لَوۡ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكۡرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples","transliteration":"Law anna AAindana thikran mina alawwaleena"},{"id":169,"text":"لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ","translation":"We would have been the chosen servants of Allah","transliteration":"Lakunna AAibada Allahi almukhlaseena"},{"id":170,"text":"فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know","transliteration":"Fakafaroo bihi fasawfa yaAAlamoona"},{"id":171,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers","transliteration":"Walaqad sabaqat kalimatuna liAAibadina almursaleena"},{"id":172,"text":"إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ","translation":"[That] indeed, they would be those given victory","transliteration":"Innahum lahumu almansooroona"},{"id":173,"text":"وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ","translation":"And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome","transliteration":"Wainna jundana lahumu alghaliboona"},{"id":174,"text":"فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ","translation":"So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time","transliteration":"Fatawalla AAanhum hatta heenin"},{"id":175,"text":"وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ","translation":"And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see","transliteration":"Waabsirhum fasawfa yubsiroona"},{"id":176,"text":"أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ","translation":"Then for Our punishment are they impatient","transliteration":"AfabiAAathabina yastaAAjiloona"},{"id":177,"text":"فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ","translation":"But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned","transliteration":"Faitha nazala bisahatihim fasaa sabahu almunthareena"},{"id":178,"text":"وَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ","translation":"And leave them for a time","transliteration":"Watawalla AAanhum hatta heenin"},{"id":179,"text":"وَأَبۡصِرۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَ","translation":"And see, for they are going to see","transliteration":"Waabsir fasawfa yubsiroona"},{"id":180,"text":"سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ","translation":"Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe","transliteration":"Subhana rabbika rabbi alAAizzati AAamma yasifoona"},{"id":181,"text":"وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"And peace upon the messengers","transliteration":"Wasalamun AAala almursaleena"},{"id":182,"text":"وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Waalhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena"}]}
