{"id":26,"name":"الشعراء","transliteration":"Ash-Shu'ara","translation":"The Poets","type":"meccan","total_verses":227,"verses":[{"id":1,"text":"طسٓمٓ","translation":"Ta, Seen, Meem","transliteration":"Taseenmeem"},{"id":2,"text":"تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ","translation":"These are the verses of the clear Book","transliteration":"Tilka ayatu alkitabi almubeeni"},{"id":3,"text":"لَعَلَّكَ بَٰخِعٞ نَّفۡسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers","transliteration":"LaAAallaka bakhiAAun nafsaka alla yakoonoo mumineena"},{"id":4,"text":"إِن نَّشَأۡ نُنَزِّلۡ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ءَايَةٗ فَظَلَّتۡ أَعۡنَٰقُهُمۡ لَهَا خَٰضِعِينَ","translation":"If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled","transliteration":"In nasha nunazzil AAalayhim mina alssamai ayatan fathallat aAAnaquhum laha khadiAAeena"},{"id":5,"text":"وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن ذِكۡرٖ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مُحۡدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ عَنۡهُ مُعۡرِضِينَ","translation":"And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it","transliteration":"Wama yateehim min thikrin mina alrrahmani muhdathin illa kanoo AAanhu muAArideena"},{"id":6,"text":"فَقَدۡ كَذَّبُواْ فَسَيَأۡتِيهِمۡ أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُاْ مَا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ","translation":"For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule","transliteration":"Faqad kaththaboo fasayateehim anbao ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona"},{"id":7,"text":"أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَمۡ أَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجٖ كَرِيمٍ","translation":"Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind","transliteration":"Awalam yaraw ila alardi kam anbatna feeha min kulli zawjin kareemin"},{"id":8,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":9,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":10,"text":"وَإِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئۡتِ ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ","translation":"And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], \"Go to the wrongdoing people","transliteration":"Waith nada rabbuka moosa ani iti alqawma alththalimeena"},{"id":11,"text":"قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ","translation":"The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear Allah","transliteration":"Qawma firAAawna ala yattaqoona"},{"id":12,"text":"قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ","translation":"He said, \"My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me","transliteration":"Qala rabbi innee akhafu an yukaththibooni"},{"id":13,"text":"وَيَضِيقُ صَدۡرِي وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِي فَأَرۡسِلۡ إِلَىٰ هَٰرُونَ","translation":"And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron","transliteration":"Wayadeequ sadree wala yantaliqu lisanee faarsil ila haroona"},{"id":14,"text":"وَلَهُمۡ عَلَيَّ ذَنۢبٞ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقۡتُلُونِ","translation":"And they have upon me a [claim due to] sin, so I fear that they will kill me","transliteration":"Walahum AAalayya thanbun faakhafu an yaqtulooni"},{"id":15,"text":"قَالَ كَلَّاۖ فَٱذۡهَبَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۖ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسۡتَمِعُونَ","translation":"[Allah] said, \"No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening","transliteration":"Qala kalla faithhaba biayatina inna maAAakum mustamiAAoona"},{"id":16,"text":"فَأۡتِيَا فِرۡعَوۡنَ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"Go to Pharaoh and say, 'We are the messengers of the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Fatiya firAAawna faqoola inna rasoolu rabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":17,"text":"أَنۡ أَرۡسِلۡ مَعَنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ","translation":"[Commanded to say], \"Send with us the Children of Israel","transliteration":"An arsil maAAana banee israeela"},{"id":18,"text":"قَالَ أَلَمۡ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدٗا وَلَبِثۡتَ فِينَا مِنۡ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ","translation":"[Pharaoh] said, \"Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life","transliteration":"Qala alam nurabbika feena waleedan walabithta feena min AAumurika sineena"},{"id":19,"text":"وَفَعَلۡتَ فَعۡلَتَكَ ٱلَّتِي فَعَلۡتَ وَأَنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ","translation":"And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful","transliteration":"WafaAAalta faAAlataka allatee faAAalta waanta mina alkafireena"},{"id":20,"text":"قَالَ فَعَلۡتُهَآ إِذٗا وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ","translation":"[Moses] said, \"I did it, then, while I was of those astray","transliteration":"Qala faAAaltuha ithan waana mina alddalleena"},{"id":21,"text":"فَفَرَرۡتُ مِنكُمۡ لَمَّا خِفۡتُكُمۡ فَوَهَبَ لِي رَبِّي حُكۡمٗا وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers","transliteration":"Fafarartu minkum lamma khiftukum fawahaba lee rabbee hukman wajaAAalanee mina almursaleena"},{"id":22,"text":"وَتِلۡكَ نِعۡمَةٞ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَيَّ أَنۡ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ","translation":"And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel","transliteration":"Watilka niAAmatun tamunnuha AAalayya an AAabbadta banee israeela"},{"id":23,"text":"قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَا رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"Said Pharaoh, \"And what is the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Qala firAAawnu wama rabbu alAAalameena"},{"id":24,"text":"قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ","translation":"[Moses] said, \"The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced","transliteration":"Qala rabbu alssamawati waalardi wama baynahuma in kuntum mooqineena"},{"id":25,"text":"قَالَ لِمَنۡ حَوۡلَهُۥٓ أَلَا تَسۡتَمِعُونَ","translation":"[Pharaoh] said to those around him, \"Do you not hear","transliteration":"Qala liman hawlahu ala tastamiAAoona"},{"id":26,"text":"قَالَ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"[Moses] said, \"Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers","transliteration":"Qala rabbukum warabbu abaikumu alawwaleena"},{"id":27,"text":"قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُرۡسِلَ إِلَيۡكُمۡ لَمَجۡنُونٞ","translation":"[Pharaoh] said, \"Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad","transliteration":"Qala inna rasoolakumu allathee orsila ilaykum lamajnoonun"},{"id":28,"text":"قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ","translation":"[Moses] said, \"Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason","transliteration":"Qala rabbu almashriqi waalmaghribi wama baynahuma in kuntum taAAqiloona"},{"id":29,"text":"قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذۡتَ إِلَٰهًا غَيۡرِي لَأَجۡعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمَسۡجُونِينَ","translation":"[Pharaoh] said, \"If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned","transliteration":"Qala laini ittakhathta ilahan ghayree laajAAalannaka mina almasjooneena"},{"id":30,"text":"قَالَ أَوَلَوۡ جِئۡتُكَ بِشَيۡءٖ مُّبِينٖ","translation":"[Moses] said, \"Even if I brought you proof manifest","transliteration":"Qala awalaw jituka bishayin mubeenin"},{"id":31,"text":"قَالَ فَأۡتِ بِهِۦٓ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ","translation":"[Pharaoh] said, \"Then bring it, if you should be of the truthful","transliteration":"Qala fati bihi in kunta mina alssadiqeena"},{"id":32,"text":"فَأَلۡقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعۡبَانٞ مُّبِينٞ","translation":"So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest","transliteration":"Faalqa AAasahu faitha hiya thuAAbanun mubeenun"},{"id":33,"text":"وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيۡضَآءُ لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ","translation":"And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers","transliteration":"WanazaAAa yadahu faitha hiya baydao lilnnathireena"},{"id":34,"text":"قَالَ لِلۡمَلَإِ حَوۡلَهُۥٓ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٞ","translation":"[Pharaoh] said to the eminent ones around him, \"Indeed, this is a learned magician","transliteration":"Qala lilmalai hawlahu inna hatha lasahirun AAaleemun"},{"id":35,"text":"يُرِيدُ أَن يُخۡرِجَكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُم بِسِحۡرِهِۦ فَمَاذَا تَأۡمُرُونَ","translation":"He wants to drive you out of your land by his magic, so what do you advise","transliteration":"Yureedu an yukhrijakum min ardikum bisihrihi famatha tamuroona"},{"id":36,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ أَرۡجِهۡ وَأَخَاهُ وَٱبۡعَثۡ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ","translation":"They said, \"Postpone [the matter of] him and his brother and send among the cities gatherers","transliteration":"Qaloo arjih waakhahu waibAAath fee almadaini hashireena"},{"id":37,"text":"يَأۡتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٖ","translation":"Who will bring you every learned, skilled magician","transliteration":"Yatooka bikulli sahharin AAaleemin"},{"id":38,"text":"فَجُمِعَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَٰتِ يَوۡمٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ","translation":"So the magicians were assembled for the appointment of a well-known day","transliteration":"FajumiAAa alssaharatu limeeqati yawmin maAAloomin"},{"id":39,"text":"وَقِيلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّجۡتَمِعُونَ","translation":"And it was said to the people, \"Will you congregate","transliteration":"Waqeela lilnnasi hal antum mujtamiAAoona"},{"id":40,"text":"لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ","translation":"That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant","transliteration":"LaAAallana nattabiAAu alssaharata in kanoo humu alghalibeena"},{"id":41,"text":"فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُواْ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجۡرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ","translation":"And when the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, \"Is there indeed for us a reward if we are the predominant","transliteration":"Falamma jaa alssaharatu qaloo lifirAAawna ainna lana laajran in kunna nahnu alghalibeena"},{"id":42,"text":"قَالَ نَعَمۡ وَإِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ","translation":"He said, \"Yes, and indeed, you will then be of those near [to me]","transliteration":"Qala naAAam wainnakum ithan lamina almuqarrabeena"},{"id":43,"text":"قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلۡقُواْ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلۡقُونَ","translation":"Moses said to them, \"Throw whatever you will throw","transliteration":"Qala lahum moosa alqoo ma antum mulqoona"},{"id":44,"text":"فَأَلۡقَوۡاْ حِبَالَهُمۡ وَعِصِيَّهُمۡ وَقَالُواْ بِعِزَّةِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ","translation":"So they threw their ropes and their staffs and said, \"By the might of Pharaoh, indeed it is we who are predominant","transliteration":"Faalqaw hibalahum waAAisiyyahum waqaloo biAAizzati firAAawna inna lanahnu alghaliboona"},{"id":45,"text":"فَأَلۡقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلۡقَفُ مَا يَأۡفِكُونَ","translation":"Then Moses threw his staff, and at once it devoured what they falsified","transliteration":"Faalqa moosa AAasahu faitha hiya talqafu ma yafikoona"},{"id":46,"text":"فَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ","translation":"So the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah]","transliteration":"Faolqiya alssaharatu sajideena"},{"id":47,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"They said, \"We have believed in the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Qaloo amanna birabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":48,"text":"رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ","translation":"The Lord of Moses and Aaron","transliteration":"Rabbi moosa waharoona"},{"id":49,"text":"قَالَ ءَامَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ قَبۡلَ أَنۡ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحۡرَ فَلَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَأَرۡجُلَكُم مِّنۡ خِلَٰفٖ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"[Pharaoh] said, \"You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all","transliteration":"Qala amantum lahu qabla an athana lakum innahu lakabeerukumu allathee AAallamakumu alssihra falasawfa taAAlamoona laoqattiAAanna aydiyakum waarjulakum min khilafin walaosallibannakum ajmaAAeena"},{"id":50,"text":"قَالُواْ لَا ضَيۡرَۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ","translation":"They said, \"No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return","transliteration":"Qaloo la dayra inna ila rabbina munqaliboona"},{"id":51,"text":"إِنَّا نَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَآ أَن كُنَّآ أَوَّلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers","transliteration":"Inna natmaAAu an yaghfira lana rabbuna khatayana an kunna awwala almumineena"},{"id":52,"text":"۞وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِيٓ إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ","translation":"And We inspired to Moses, \"Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued","transliteration":"Waawhayna ila moosa an asri biAAibadee innakum muttabaAAoona"},{"id":53,"text":"فَأَرۡسَلَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ","translation":"Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers","transliteration":"Faarsala firAAawnu fee almadaini hashireena"},{"id":54,"text":"إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَشِرۡذِمَةٞ قَلِيلُونَ","translation":"[And said], \"Indeed, those are but a small band","transliteration":"Inna haolai lashirthimatun qaleeloona"},{"id":55,"text":"وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ","translation":"And indeed, they are enraging us","transliteration":"Wainnahum lana laghaithoona"},{"id":56,"text":"وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَٰذِرُونَ","translation":"And indeed, we are a cautious society","transliteration":"Wainna lajameeAAun hathiroona"},{"id":57,"text":"فَأَخۡرَجۡنَٰهُم مِّن جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ","translation":"So We removed them from gardens and springs","transliteration":"Faakhrajnahum min jannatin waAAuyoonin"},{"id":58,"text":"وَكُنُوزٖ وَمَقَامٖ كَرِيمٖ","translation":"And treasures and honorable station","transliteration":"Wakunoozin wamaqamin kareemin"},{"id":59,"text":"كَذَٰلِكَۖ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ","translation":"Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel","transliteration":"Kathalika waawrathnaha banee israeela"},{"id":60,"text":"فَأَتۡبَعُوهُم مُّشۡرِقِينَ","translation":"So they pursued them at sunrise","transliteration":"FaatbaAAoohum mushriqeena"},{"id":61,"text":"فَلَمَّا تَرَـٰٓءَا ٱلۡجَمۡعَانِ قَالَ أَصۡحَٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدۡرَكُونَ","translation":"And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, \"Indeed, we are to be overtaken","transliteration":"Falamma taraa aljamAAani qala ashabu moosa inna lamudrakoona"},{"id":62,"text":"قَالَ كَلَّآۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِ","translation":"[Moses] said, \"No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me","transliteration":"Qala kalla inna maAAiya rabbee sayahdeeni"},{"id":63,"text":"فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرۡقٖ كَٱلطَّوۡدِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ","translation":"Then We inspired to Moses, \"Strike with your staff the sea,\" and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain","transliteration":"Faawhayna ila moosa ani idrib biAAasaka albahra fainfalaqa fakana kullu firqin kaalttawdi alAAatheemi"},{"id":64,"text":"وَأَزۡلَفۡنَا ثَمَّ ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ","translation":"And We advanced thereto the pursuers","transliteration":"Waazlafna thamma alakhareena"},{"id":65,"text":"وَأَنجَيۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"And We saved Moses and those with him, all together","transliteration":"Waanjayna moosa waman maAAahu ajmaAAeena"},{"id":66,"text":"ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ","translation":"Then We drowned the others","transliteration":"Thumma aghraqna alakhareena"},{"id":67,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":68,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":69,"text":"وَٱتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَأَ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ","translation":"And recite to them the news of Abraham","transliteration":"Waotlu AAalayhim nabaa ibraheema"},{"id":70,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ","translation":"When he said to his father and his people, \"What do you worship","transliteration":"Ith qala liabeehi waqawmihi ma taAAbudoona"},{"id":71,"text":"قَالُواْ نَعۡبُدُ أَصۡنَامٗا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَٰكِفِينَ","translation":"They said, \"We worship idols and remain to them devoted","transliteration":"Qaloo naAAbudu asnaman fanathallu laha AAakifeena"},{"id":72,"text":"قَالَ هَلۡ يَسۡمَعُونَكُمۡ إِذۡ تَدۡعُونَ","translation":"He said, \"Do they hear you when you supplicate","transliteration":"Qala hal yasmaAAoonakum ith tadAAoona"},{"id":73,"text":"أَوۡ يَنفَعُونَكُمۡ أَوۡ يَضُرُّونَ","translation":"Or do they benefit you, or do they harm","transliteration":"Aw yanfaAAoonakum aw yadurroona"},{"id":74,"text":"قَالُواْ بَلۡ وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفۡعَلُونَ","translation":"They said, \"But we found our fathers doing thus","transliteration":"Qaloo bal wajadna abaana kathalika yafAAaloona"},{"id":75,"text":"قَالَ أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡبُدُونَ","translation":"He said, \"Then do you see what you have been worshipping","transliteration":"Qala afaraaytum ma kuntum taAAbudoona"},{"id":76,"text":"أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ ٱلۡأَقۡدَمُونَ","translation":"You and your ancient forefathers","transliteration":"Antum waabaokumu alaqdamoona"},{"id":77,"text":"فَإِنَّهُمۡ عَدُوّٞ لِّيٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Fainnahum AAaduwwun lee illa rabba alAAalameena"},{"id":78,"text":"ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَنِي فَهُوَ يَهۡدِينِ","translation":"Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me","transliteration":"Allathee khalaqanee fahuwa yahdeeni"},{"id":79,"text":"وَٱلَّذِي هُوَ يُطۡعِمُنِي وَيَسۡقِينِ","translation":"And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink","transliteration":"Waallathee huwa yutAAimunee wayasqeeni"},{"id":80,"text":"وَإِذَا مَرِضۡتُ فَهُوَ يَشۡفِينِ","translation":"And when I am ill, it is He who cures me","transliteration":"Waitha maridtu fahuwa yashfeeni"},{"id":81,"text":"وَٱلَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُمَّ يُحۡيِينِ","translation":"And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life","transliteration":"Waallathee yumeetunee thumma yuhyeeni"},{"id":82,"text":"وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لِي خَطِيٓـَٔتِي يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ","translation":"And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense","transliteration":"Waallathee atmaAAu an yaghfira lee khateeatee yawma alddeeni"},{"id":83,"text":"رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي حُكۡمٗا وَأَلۡحِقۡنِي بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ","translation":"[And he said], \"My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous","transliteration":"Rabbi hab lee hukman waalhiqnee bialssaliheena"},{"id":84,"text":"وَٱجۡعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدۡقٖ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ","translation":"And grant me a reputation of honor among later generations","transliteration":"WaijAAal lee lisana sidqin fee alakhireena"},{"id":85,"text":"وَٱجۡعَلۡنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ","translation":"And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure","transliteration":"WaijAAalnee min warathati jannati alnnaAAeemi"},{"id":86,"text":"وَٱغۡفِرۡ لِأَبِيٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ","translation":"And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray","transliteration":"Waighfir liabee innahu kana mina alddalleena"},{"id":87,"text":"وَلَا تُخۡزِنِي يَوۡمَ يُبۡعَثُونَ","translation":"And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected","transliteration":"Wala tukhzinee yawma yubAAathoona"},{"id":88,"text":"يَوۡمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٞ وَلَا بَنُونَ","translation":"The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children","transliteration":"Yawma la yanfaAAu malun wala banoona"},{"id":89,"text":"إِلَّا مَنۡ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلۡبٖ سَلِيمٖ","translation":"But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart","transliteration":"Illa man ata Allaha biqalbin saleemin"},{"id":90,"text":"وَأُزۡلِفَتِ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ","translation":"And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous","transliteration":"Waozlifati aljannatu lilmuttaqeena"},{"id":91,"text":"وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِلۡغَاوِينَ","translation":"And Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators","transliteration":"Waburrizati aljaheemu lilghaweena"},{"id":92,"text":"وَقِيلَ لَهُمۡ أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡبُدُونَ","translation":"And it will be said to them, \"Where are those you used to worship","transliteration":"Waqeela lahum ayna ma kuntum taAAbudoona"},{"id":93,"text":"مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلۡ يَنصُرُونَكُمۡ أَوۡ يَنتَصِرُونَ","translation":"Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves","transliteration":"Min dooni Allahi hal yansuroonakum aw yantasiroona"},{"id":94,"text":"فَكُبۡكِبُواْ فِيهَا هُمۡ وَٱلۡغَاوُۥنَ","translation":"So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators","transliteration":"Fakubkiboo feeha hum waalghawoona"},{"id":95,"text":"وَجُنُودُ إِبۡلِيسَ أَجۡمَعُونَ","translation":"And the soldiers of Iblees, all together","transliteration":"Wajunoodu ibleesa ajmaAAoona"},{"id":96,"text":"قَالُواْ وَهُمۡ فِيهَا يَخۡتَصِمُونَ","translation":"They will say while they dispute therein","transliteration":"Qaloo wahum feeha yakhtasimoona"},{"id":97,"text":"تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ","translation":"By Allah, we were indeed in manifest error","transliteration":"TaAllahi in kunna lafee dalalin mubeenin"},{"id":98,"text":"إِذۡ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"When we equated you with the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Ith nusawweekum birabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":99,"text":"وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ","translation":"And no one misguided us except the criminals","transliteration":"Wama adallana illa almujrimoona"},{"id":100,"text":"فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَٰفِعِينَ","translation":"So now we have no intercessors","transliteration":"Fama lana min shafiAAeena"},{"id":101,"text":"وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٖ","translation":"And not a devoted friend","transliteration":"Wala sadeeqin hameemin"},{"id":102,"text":"فَلَوۡ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةٗ فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers","transliteration":"Falaw anna lana karratan fanakoona mina almumineena"},{"id":103,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":104,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":105,"text":"كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"The people of Noah denied the messengers","transliteration":"Kaththabat qawmu noohin almursaleena"},{"id":106,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ","translation":"When their brother Noah said to them, \"Will you not fear Allah","transliteration":"Ith qala lahum akhoohum noohun ala tattaqoona"},{"id":107,"text":"إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ","translation":"Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger","transliteration":"Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun"},{"id":108,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":109,"text":"وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Wama asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illa AAala rabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":110,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":111,"text":"۞قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلۡأَرۡذَلُونَ","translation":"They said, \"Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]","transliteration":"Qaloo anuminu laka waittabaAAaka alarthaloona"},{"id":112,"text":"قَالَ وَمَا عِلۡمِي بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"He said, \"And what is my knowledge of what they used to do","transliteration":"Qala wama AAilmee bima kanoo yaAAmaloona"},{"id":113,"text":"إِنۡ حِسَابُهُمۡ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّيۖ لَوۡ تَشۡعُرُونَ","translation":"Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive","transliteration":"In hisabuhum illa AAala rabbee law tashAAuroona"},{"id":114,"text":"وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"And I am not one to drive away the believers","transliteration":"Wama ana bitaridi almumineena"},{"id":115,"text":"إِنۡ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٞ","translation":"I am only a clear warner","transliteration":"In ana illa natheerun mubeenun"},{"id":116,"text":"قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَرۡجُومِينَ","translation":"They said, \"If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned","transliteration":"Qaloo lain lam tantahi ya noohu latakoonanna mina almarjoomeena"},{"id":117,"text":"قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوۡمِي كَذَّبُونِ","translation":"He said, \"My Lord, indeed my people have denied me","transliteration":"Qala rabbi inna qawmee kaththabooni"},{"id":118,"text":"فَٱفۡتَحۡ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَهُمۡ فَتۡحٗا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers","transliteration":"Faiftah baynee wabaynahum fathan wanajjinee waman maAAiya mina almumineena"},{"id":119,"text":"فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ","translation":"So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship","transliteration":"Faanjaynahu waman maAAahu fee alfulki almashhooni"},{"id":120,"text":"ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا بَعۡدُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ","translation":"Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones","transliteration":"Thumma aghraqna baAAdu albaqeena"},{"id":121,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":122,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":123,"text":"كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٌ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"Aad denied the messengers","transliteration":"Kaththabat AAadun almursaleena"},{"id":124,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ","translation":"When their brother Hud said to them, \"Will you not fear Allah","transliteration":"Ith qala lahum akhoohum hoodun ala tattaqoona"},{"id":125,"text":"إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ","translation":"Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger","transliteration":"Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun"},{"id":126,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":127,"text":"وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Wama asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illa AAala rabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":128,"text":"أَتَبۡنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ ءَايَةٗ تَعۡبَثُونَ","translation":"Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves","transliteration":"Atabnoona bikulli reeAAin ayatan taAAbathoona"},{"id":129,"text":"وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَخۡلُدُونَ","translation":"And take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abide eternally","transliteration":"Watattakhithoona masaniAAa laAAallakum takhludoona"},{"id":130,"text":"وَإِذَا بَطَشۡتُم بَطَشۡتُمۡ جَبَّارِينَ","translation":"And when you strike, you strike as tyrants","transliteration":"Waitha batashtum batashtum jabbareena"},{"id":131,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":132,"text":"وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"And fear He who provided you with that which you know","transliteration":"Waittaqoo allathee amaddakum bima taAAlamoona"},{"id":133,"text":"أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنۡعَٰمٖ وَبَنِينَ","translation":"Provided you with grazing livestock and children","transliteration":"Amaddakum bianAAamin wabaneena"},{"id":134,"text":"وَجَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ","translation":"And gardens and springs","transliteration":"Wajannatin waAAuyoonin"},{"id":135,"text":"إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ","translation":"Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day","transliteration":"Innee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin"},{"id":136,"text":"قَالُواْ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيۡنَآ أَوَعَظۡتَ أَمۡ لَمۡ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡوَٰعِظِينَ","translation":"They said, \"It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors","transliteration":"Qaloo sawaon AAalayna awaAAathta am lam takun mina alwaAAitheena"},{"id":137,"text":"إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا خُلُقُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"This is not but the custom of the former peoples","transliteration":"In hatha illa khuluqu alawwaleena"},{"id":138,"text":"وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ","translation":"And we are not to be punished","transliteration":"Wama nahnu bimuAAaththabeena"},{"id":139,"text":"فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Fakaththaboohu faahlaknahum inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":140,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":141,"text":"كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"Thamud denied the messengers","transliteration":"Kaththabat thamoodu almursaleena"},{"id":142,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ صَٰلِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ","translation":"When their brother Salih said to them, \"Will you not fear Allah","transliteration":"Ith qala lahum akhoohum salihun ala tattaqoona"},{"id":143,"text":"إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ","translation":"Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger","transliteration":"Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun"},{"id":144,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":145,"text":"وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Wama asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illa AAala rabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":146,"text":"أَتُتۡرَكُونَ فِي مَا هَٰهُنَآ ءَامِنِينَ","translation":"Will you be left in what is here, secure [from death]","transliteration":"Atutrakoona fee ma hahuna amineena"},{"id":147,"text":"فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ","translation":"Within gardens and springs","transliteration":"Fee jannatin waAAuyoonin"},{"id":148,"text":"وَزُرُوعٖ وَنَخۡلٖ طَلۡعُهَا هَضِيمٞ","translation":"And fields of crops and palm trees with softened fruit","transliteration":"WazurooAAin wanakhlin talAAuha hadeemun"},{"id":149,"text":"وَتَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتٗا فَٰرِهِينَ","translation":"And you carve out of the mountains, homes, with skill","transliteration":"Watanhitoona mina aljibali buyootan fariheena"},{"id":150,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":151,"text":"وَلَا تُطِيعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ","translation":"And do not obey the order of the transgressors","transliteration":"Wala tuteeAAoo amra almusrifeena"},{"id":152,"text":"ٱلَّذِينَ يُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا يُصۡلِحُونَ","translation":"Who cause corruption in the land and do not amend","transliteration":"Allatheena yufsidoona fee alardi wala yuslihoona"},{"id":153,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَحَّرِينَ","translation":"They said, \"You are only of those affected by magic","transliteration":"Qaloo innama anta mina almusahhareena"},{"id":154,"text":"مَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا فَأۡتِ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ","translation":"You are but a man like ourselves, so bring a sign, if you should be of the truthful","transliteration":"Ma anta illa basharun mithluna fati biayatin in kunta mina alssadiqeena"},{"id":155,"text":"قَالَ هَٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةٞ لَّهَا شِرۡبٞ وَلَكُمۡ شِرۡبُ يَوۡمٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ","translation":"He said, \"This is a she-camel. For her is a [time of] drink, and for you is a [time of] drink, [each] on a known day","transliteration":"Qala hathihi naqatun laha shirbun walakum shirbu yawmin maAAloomin"},{"id":156,"text":"وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٖ فَيَأۡخُذَكُمۡ عَذَابُ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ","translation":"And do not touch her with harm, lest you be seized by the punishment of a terrible day","transliteration":"Wala tamassooha bisooin fayakhuthakum AAathabu yawmin AAatheemin"},{"id":157,"text":"فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصۡبَحُواْ نَٰدِمِينَ","translation":"But they hamstrung her and so became regretful","transliteration":"FaAAaqarooha faasbahoo nadimeena"},{"id":158,"text":"فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"And the punishment seized them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Faakhathahumu alAAathabu inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":159,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":160,"text":"كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ لُوطٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"The people of Lot denied the messengers","transliteration":"Kaththabat qawmu lootin almursaleena"},{"id":161,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ","translation":"When their brother Lot said to them, \"Will you not fear Allah","transliteration":"Ith qala lahum akhoohum lootun ala tattaqoona"},{"id":162,"text":"إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ","translation":"Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger","transliteration":"Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun"},{"id":163,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":164,"text":"وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Wama asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illa AAala rabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":165,"text":"أَتَأۡتُونَ ٱلذُّكۡرَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"Do you approach males among the worlds","transliteration":"Atatoona alththukrana mina alAAalameena"},{"id":166,"text":"وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمۡ رَبُّكُم مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ عَادُونَ","translation":"And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing","transliteration":"Watatharoona ma khalaqa lakum rabbukum min azwajikum bal antum qawmun AAadoona"},{"id":167,"text":"قَالُواْ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ يَٰلُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمُخۡرَجِينَ","translation":"They said, \"If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted","transliteration":"Qaloo lain lam tantahi ya lootu latakoonanna mina almukhrajeena"},{"id":168,"text":"قَالَ إِنِّي لِعَمَلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقَالِينَ","translation":"He said, \"Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]","transliteration":"Qala innee liAAamalikum mina alqaleena"},{"id":169,"text":"رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهۡلِي مِمَّا يَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do","transliteration":"Rabbi najjinee waahlee mimma yaAAmaloona"},{"id":170,"text":"فَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"So We saved him and his family, all","transliteration":"Fanajjaynahu waahlahu ajmaAAeena"},{"id":171,"text":"إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ","translation":"Except an old woman among those who remained behind","transliteration":"Illa AAajoozan fee alghabireena"},{"id":172,"text":"ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ","translation":"Then We destroyed the others","transliteration":"Thumma dammarna alakhareena"},{"id":173,"text":"وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم مَّطَرٗاۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَ","translation":"And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned","transliteration":"Waamtarna AAalayhim mataran fasaa mataru almunthareena"},{"id":174,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":175,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":176,"text":"كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"The companions of the thicket denied the messengers","transliteration":"Kaththaba ashabu alaykati almursaleena"},{"id":177,"text":"إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ","translation":"When Shu'ayb said to them, \"Will you not fear Allah","transliteration":"Ith qala lahum shuAAaybun ala tattaqoona"},{"id":178,"text":"إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ","translation":"Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger","transliteration":"Innee lakum rasoolun ameenun"},{"id":179,"text":"فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ","translation":"So fear Allah and obey me","transliteration":"Faittaqoo Allaha waateeAAooni"},{"id":180,"text":"وَمَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Wama asalukum AAalayhi min ajrin in ajriya illa AAala rabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":181,"text":"۞أَوۡفُواْ ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَلَا تَكُونُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡمُخۡسِرِينَ","translation":"Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss","transliteration":"Awfoo alkayla wala takoonoo mina almukhsireena"},{"id":182,"text":"وَزِنُواْ بِٱلۡقِسۡطَاسِ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمِ","translation":"And weigh with an even balance","transliteration":"Wazinoo bialqistasi almustaqeemi"},{"id":183,"text":"وَلَا تَبۡخَسُواْ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ","translation":"And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption","transliteration":"Wala tabkhasoo alnnasa ashyaahum wala taAAthaw fee alardi mufsideena"},{"id":184,"text":"وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ وَٱلۡجِبِلَّةَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"And fear He who created you and the former creation","transliteration":"Waittaqoo allathee khalaqakum waaljibillata alawwaleena"},{"id":185,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَحَّرِينَ","translation":"They said, \"You are only of those affected by magic","transliteration":"Qaloo innama anta mina almusahhareena"},{"id":186,"text":"وَمَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٞ مِّثۡلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ","translation":"You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars","transliteration":"Wama anta illa basharun mithluna wain nathunnuka lamina alkathibeena"},{"id":187,"text":"فَأَسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡنَا كِسَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ","translation":"So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful","transliteration":"Faasqit AAalayna kisafan mina alssamai in kunta mina alssadiqeena"},{"id":188,"text":"قَالَ رَبِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"He said, \"My Lord is most knowing of what you do","transliteration":"Qala rabbee aAAlamu bima taAAmaloona"},{"id":189,"text":"فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ عَذَابُ يَوۡمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ","translation":"And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day","transliteration":"Fakaththaboohu faakhathahum AAathabu yawmi alththullati innahu kana AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin"},{"id":190,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mumineena"},{"id":191,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka lahuwa alAAazeezu alrraheemu"},{"id":192,"text":"وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَنزِيلُ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds","transliteration":"Wainnahu latanzeelu rabbi alAAalameena"},{"id":193,"text":"نَزَلَ بِهِ ٱلرُّوحُ ٱلۡأَمِينُ","translation":"The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down","transliteration":"Nazala bihi alrroohu alameenu"},{"id":194,"text":"عَلَىٰ قَلۡبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنذِرِينَ","translation":"Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners","transliteration":"AAala qalbika litakoona mina almunthireena"},{"id":195,"text":"بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِيّٖ مُّبِينٖ","translation":"In a clear Arabic language","transliteration":"Bilisanin AAarabiyyin mubeenin"},{"id":196,"text":"وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِي زُبُرِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples","transliteration":"Wainnahu lafee zuburi alawwaleena"},{"id":197,"text":"أَوَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُمۡ ءَايَةً أَن يَعۡلَمَهُۥ عُلَمَـٰٓؤُاْ بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ","translation":"And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel","transliteration":"Awalam yakun lahum ayatan an yaAAlamahu AAulamao banee israeela"},{"id":198,"text":"وَلَوۡ نَزَّلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضِ ٱلۡأَعۡجَمِينَ","translation":"And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners","transliteration":"Walaw nazzalnahu AAala baAAdi alaAAjameena"},{"id":199,"text":"فَقَرَأَهُۥ عَلَيۡهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it","transliteration":"Faqaraahu AAalayhim ma kanoo bihi mumineena"},{"id":200,"text":"كَذَٰلِكَ سَلَكۡنَٰهُ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ","translation":"Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals","transliteration":"Kathalika salaknahu fee quloobi almujrimeena"},{"id":201,"text":"لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَلِيمَ","translation":"They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment","transliteration":"La yuminoona bihi hatta yarawoo alAAathaba alaleema"},{"id":202,"text":"فَيَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ","translation":"And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not","transliteration":"Fayatiyahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona"},{"id":203,"text":"فَيَقُولُواْ هَلۡ نَحۡنُ مُنظَرُونَ","translation":"And they will say, \"May we be reprieved","transliteration":"Fayaqooloo hal nahnu muntharoona"},{"id":204,"text":"أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ","translation":"So for Our punishment are they impatient","transliteration":"AfabiAAathabina yastaAAjiloona"},{"id":205,"text":"أَفَرَءَيۡتَ إِن مَّتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ سِنِينَ","translation":"Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years","transliteration":"Afaraayta in mattaAAnahum sineena"},{"id":206,"text":"ثُمَّ جَآءَهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُوعَدُونَ","translation":"And then there came to them that which they were promised","transliteration":"Thumma jaahum ma kanoo yooAAadoona"},{"id":207,"text":"مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُمَتَّعُونَ","translation":"They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided","transliteration":"Ma aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yumattaAAoona"},{"id":208,"text":"وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ","translation":"And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners","transliteration":"Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa laha munthiroona"},{"id":209,"text":"ذِكۡرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ","translation":"As a reminder; and never have We been unjust","transliteration":"Thikra wama kunna thalimeena"},{"id":210,"text":"وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتۡ بِهِ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ","translation":"And the devils have not brought the revelation down","transliteration":"Wama tanazzalat bihi alshshayateenu"},{"id":211,"text":"وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُمۡ وَمَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ","translation":"It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able","transliteration":"Wama yanbaghee lahum wama yastateeAAoona"},{"id":212,"text":"إِنَّهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّمۡعِ لَمَعۡزُولُونَ","translation":"Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed","transliteration":"Innahum AAani alssamAAi lamaAAzooloona"},{"id":213,"text":"فَلَا تَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُعَذَّبِينَ","translation":"So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished","transliteration":"Fala tadAAu maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fatakoona mina almuAAaththabeena"},{"id":214,"text":"وَأَنذِرۡ عَشِيرَتَكَ ٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ","translation":"And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred","transliteration":"Waanthir AAasheerataka alaqrabeena"},{"id":215,"text":"وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers","transliteration":"Waikhfid janahaka limani ittabaAAaka mina almumineena"},{"id":216,"text":"فَإِنۡ عَصَوۡكَ فَقُلۡ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"And if they disobey you, then say, \"Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing","transliteration":"Fain AAasawka faqul innee bareeon mimma taAAmaloona"},{"id":217,"text":"وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ","translation":"And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful","transliteration":"Watawakkal AAala alAAazeezi alrraheemi"},{"id":218,"text":"ٱلَّذِي يَرَىٰكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ","translation":"Who sees you when you arise","transliteration":"Allathee yaraka heena taqoomu"},{"id":219,"text":"وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ","translation":"And your movement among those who prostrate","transliteration":"Wataqallubaka fee alssajideena"},{"id":220,"text":"إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ","translation":"Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing","transliteration":"Innahu huwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu"},{"id":221,"text":"هَلۡ أُنَبِّئُكُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَن تَنَزَّلُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ","translation":"Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend","transliteration":"Hal onabbiokum AAala man tanazzalu alshshayateenu"},{"id":222,"text":"تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٖ","translation":"They descend upon every sinful liar","transliteration":"Tanazzalu AAala kulli affakin atheemin"},{"id":223,"text":"يُلۡقُونَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ كَٰذِبُونَ","translation":"They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars","transliteration":"Yulqoona alssamAAa waaktharuhum kathiboona"},{"id":224,"text":"وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡغَاوُۥنَ","translation":"And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them","transliteration":"WaalshshuAAarao yattabiAAuhumu alghawoona"},{"id":225,"text":"أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّهُمۡ فِي كُلِّ وَادٖ يَهِيمُونَ","translation":"Do you not see that in every valley they roam","transliteration":"Alam tara annahum fee kulli wadin yaheemoona"},{"id":226,"text":"وَأَنَّهُمۡ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفۡعَلُونَ","translation":"And that they say what they do not do","transliteration":"Waannahum yaqooloona ma la yafAAaloona"},{"id":227,"text":"إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَذَكَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا وَٱنتَصَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُواْۗ وَسَيَعۡلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٖ يَنقَلِبُونَ","translation":"Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned","transliteration":"Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati wathakaroo Allaha katheeran waintasaroo min baAAdi ma thulimoo wasayaAAlamu allatheena thalamoo ayya munqalabin yanqaliboona"}]}
