These are the verses of the Book and a clear Qur'an","transliteration":"Aliflamra tilka ayatu alkitabi waquranin mubeenin"},{"id":2,"text":"رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ كَانُواْ مُسۡلِمِينَ","translation":"Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims","transliteration":"Rubama yawaddu allatheena kafaroo law kanoo muslimeena"},{"id":3,"text":"ذَرۡهُمۡ يَأۡكُلُواْ وَيَتَمَتَّعُواْ وَيُلۡهِهِمُ ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know","transliteration":"Tharhum yakuloo wayatamattaAAoo wayulhihimu alamalu fasawfa yaAAlamoona"},{"id":4,"text":"وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ","translation":"And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree","transliteration":"Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa walaha kitabun maAAloomun"},{"id":5,"text":"مَّا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ","translation":"No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter","transliteration":"Ma tasbiqu min ommatin ajalaha wama yastakhiroona"},{"id":6,"text":"وَقَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجۡنُونٞ","translation":"And they say, \"O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad","transliteration":"Waqaloo ya ayyuha allathee nuzzila AAalayhi alththikru innaka lamajnoonun"},{"id":7,"text":"لَّوۡمَا تَأۡتِينَا بِٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ","translation":"Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful","transliteration":"Law ma tateena bialmalaikati in kunta mina alssadiqeena"},{"id":8,"text":"مَا نُنَزِّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوٓاْ إِذٗا مُّنظَرِينَ","translation":"We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved","transliteration":"Ma nunazzilu almalaikata illa bialhaqqi wama kanoo ithan munthareena"},{"id":9,"text":"إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ","translation":"Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian","transliteration":"Inna nahnu nazzalna alththikra wainna lahu lahafithoona"},{"id":10,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"And We had certainly sent [messengers] before you, [O Muhammad], among the sects of the former peoples","transliteration":"Walaqad arsalna min qablika fee shiyaAAi alawwaleena"},{"id":11,"text":"وَمَا يَأۡتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ","translation":"And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him","transliteration":"Wama yateehim min rasoolin illa kanoo bihi yastahzioona"},{"id":12,"text":"كَذَٰلِكَ نَسۡلُكُهُۥ فِي قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ","translation":"Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals","transliteration":"Kathalika naslukuhu fee quloobi almujrimeena"},{"id":13,"text":"لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَقَدۡ خَلَتۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ","translation":"They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples","transliteration":"La yuminoona bihi waqad khalat sunnatu alawwaleena"},{"id":14,"text":"وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِم بَابٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّواْ فِيهِ يَعۡرُجُونَ","translation":"And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they continued therein to ascend","transliteration":"Walaw fatahna AAalayhim baban mina alssamai fathalloo feehi yaAArujoona"},{"id":15,"text":"لَقَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ أَبۡصَٰرُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٞ مَّسۡحُورُونَ","translation":"They would say, \"Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic","transliteration":"Laqaloo innama sukkirat absaruna bal nahnu qawmun mashooroona"},{"id":16,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ","translation":"And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers","transliteration":"Walaqad jaAAalna fee alssamai buroojan wazayyannaha lilnnathireena"},{"id":17,"text":"وَحَفِظۡنَٰهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٍ","translation":"And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah]","transliteration":"Wahafithnaha min kulli shaytanin rajeemin"},{"id":18,"text":"إِلَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَرَقَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ مُّبِينٞ","translation":"Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame","transliteration":"Illa mani istaraqa alssamAAa faatbaAAahu shihabun mubeenun"},{"id":19,"text":"وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَٰهَا وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مَّوۡزُونٖ","translation":"And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing","transliteration":"Waalarda madadnaha waalqayna feeha rawasiya waanbatna feeha min kulli shayin mawzoonin"},{"id":20,"text":"وَجَعَلۡنَا لَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَعَٰيِشَ وَمَن لَّسۡتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِرَٰزِقِينَ","translation":"And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers","transliteration":"WajaAAalna lakum feeha maAAayisha waman lastum lahu biraziqeena"},{"id":21,"text":"وَإِن مِّن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَآئِنُهُۥ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ","translation":"And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure","transliteration":"Wain min shayin illa AAindana khazainuhu wama nunazziluhu illa biqadarin maAAloomin"},{"id":22,"text":"وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلرِّيَٰحَ لَوَٰقِحَ فَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُمُوهُ وَمَآ أَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ بِخَٰزِنِينَ","translation":"And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers","transliteration":"Waarsalna alrriyaha lawaqiha faanzalna mina alssamai maan faasqaynakumoohu wama antum lahu bikhazineena"},{"id":23,"text":"وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ نُحۡيِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡوَٰرِثُونَ","translation":"And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor","transliteration":"Wainna lanahnu nuhyee wanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona"},{"id":24,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡتَـٔۡخِرِينَ","translation":"And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]","transliteration":"Walaqad AAalimna almustaqdimeena minkum walaqad AAalimna almustakhireena"},{"id":25,"text":"وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ","translation":"And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing","transliteration":"Wainna rabbaka huwa yahshuruhum innahu hakeemun AAaleemun"},{"id":26,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ","translation":"And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud","transliteration":"Walaqad khalaqna alinsana min salsalin min hamain masnoonin"},{"id":27,"text":"وَٱلۡجَآنَّ خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ مِن نَّارِ ٱلسَّمُومِ","translation":"And the jinn We created before from scorching fire","transliteration":"Waaljanna khalaqnahu min qablu min nari alssamoomi"},{"id":28,"text":"وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ","translation":"And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, \"I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud","transliteration":"Waith qala rabbuka lilmalaikati innee khaliqun basharan min salsalin min hamain masnoonin"},{"id":29,"text":"فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ","translation":"And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration","transliteration":"Faitha sawwaytuhu wanafakhtu feehi min roohee faqaAAoo lahu sajideena"},{"id":30,"text":"فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ","translation":"So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely","transliteration":"Fasajada almalaikatu kulluhum ajmaAAoona"},{"id":31,"text":"إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ","translation":"Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated","transliteration":"Illa ibleesa aba an yakoona maAAa alssajideena"},{"id":32,"text":"قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ","translation":"[Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate","transliteration":"Qala ya ibleesu ma laka alla takoona maAAa alssajideena"},{"id":33,"text":"قَالَ لَمۡ أَكُن لِّأَسۡجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ","translation":"He said, \"Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud","transliteration":"Qala lam akun liasjuda libasharin khalaqtahu min salsalin min hamain masnoonin"},{"id":34,"text":"قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ","translation":"[Allah] said, \"Then get out of it, for indeed, you are expelled","transliteration":"Qala faokhruj minha fainnaka rajeemun"},{"id":35,"text":"وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ ٱللَّعۡنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ","translation":"And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense","transliteration":"Wainna AAalayka allaAAnata ila yawmi alddeeni"},{"id":36,"text":"قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ","translation":"He said, \"My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected","transliteration":"Qala rabbi faanthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona"},{"id":37,"text":"قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ","translation":"[Allah] said, \"So indeed, you are of those reprieved","transliteration":"Qala fainnaka mina almunthareena"},{"id":38,"text":"إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ","translation":"Until the Day of the time well-known","transliteration":"Ila yawmi alwaqti almaAAloomi"},{"id":39,"text":"قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغۡوَيۡتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"[Iblees] said, \"My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all","transliteration":"Qala rabbi bima aghwaytanee laozayyinanna lahum fee alardi walaoghwiyannahum ajmaAAeena"},{"id":40,"text":"إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ","translation":"Except, among them, Your chosen servants","transliteration":"Illa AAibadaka minhumu almukhlaseena"},{"id":41,"text":"قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسۡتَقِيمٌ","translation":"[Allah] said, \"This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight","transliteration":"Qala hatha siratun AAalayya mustaqeemun"},{"id":42,"text":"إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيۡسَ لَكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَاوِينَ","translation":"Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators","transliteration":"Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhim sultanun illa mani ittabaAAaka mina alghaweena"},{"id":43,"text":"وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all","transliteration":"Wainna jahannama lamawAAiduhum ajmaAAeena"},{"id":44,"text":"لَهَا سَبۡعَةُ أَبۡوَٰبٖ لِّكُلِّ بَابٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ جُزۡءٞ مَّقۡسُومٌ","translation":"It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated","transliteration":"Laha sabAAatu abwabin likulli babin minhum juzon maqsoomun"},{"id":45,"text":"إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّـٰتٖ وَعُيُونٍ","translation":"Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs","transliteration":"Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin"},{"id":46,"text":"ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ءَامِنِينَ","translation":"[Having been told], \"Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]","transliteration":"Odkhulooha bisalamin amineena"},{"id":47,"text":"وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنۡ غِلٍّ إِخۡوَٰنًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ","translation":"And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other","transliteration":"WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena"},{"id":48,"text":"لَا يَمَسُّهُمۡ فِيهَا نَصَبٞ وَمَا هُم مِّنۡهَا بِمُخۡرَجِينَ","translation":"No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed","transliteration":"La yamassuhum feeha nasabun wama hum minha bimukhrajeena"},{"id":49,"text":"۞نَبِّئۡ عِبَادِيٓ أَنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ","translation":"[O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful","transliteration":"Nabbi AAibadee annee ana alghafooru alrraheemu"},{"id":50,"text":"وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ٱلۡأَلِيمُ","translation":"And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment","transliteration":"Wa anna AAathabee huwa alAAathabu alaleemu"},{"id":51,"text":"وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ عَن ضَيۡفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ","translation":"And inform them about the guests of Abraham","transliteration":"Wanabbihum AAan dayfi ibraheema"},{"id":52,"text":"إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ","translation":"When they entered upon him and said, \"Peace.\" [Abraham] said, \"Indeed, we are fearful of you","transliteration":"Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala inna minkum wajiloona"},{"id":53,"text":"قَالُواْ لَا تَوۡجَلۡ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٖ","translation":"[The angels] said, \"Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy","transliteration":"Qaloo la tawjal inna nubashshiruka bighulamin AAaleemin"},{"id":54,"text":"قَالَ أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِي عَلَىٰٓ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ ٱلۡكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ","translation":"He said, \"Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform","transliteration":"Qala abashshartumoonee AAala an massaniya alkibaru fabima tubashshirooni"},{"id":55,"text":"قَالُواْ بَشَّرۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِطِينَ","translation":"They said, \"We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing","transliteration":"Qaloo bashsharnaka bialhaqqi fala takun mina alqaniteena"},{"id":56,"text":"قَالَ وَمَن يَقۡنَطُ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ رَبِّهِۦٓ إِلَّا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ","translation":"He said, \"And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray","transliteration":"Qala waman yaqnatu min rahmati rabbihi illa alddalloona"},{"id":57,"text":"قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ","translation":"[Abraham] said, \"Then what is your business [here], O messengers","transliteration":"Qala fama khatbukum ayyuha almursaloona"},{"id":58,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٖ مُّجۡرِمِينَ","translation":"They said, \"Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals","transliteration":"Qaloo inna orsilna ila qawmin mujrimeena"},{"id":59,"text":"إِلَّآ ءَالَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all","transliteration":"Illa ala lootin inna lamunajjoohum ajmaAAeena"},{"id":60,"text":"إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ","translation":"Except his wife.\" Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind","transliteration":"Illa imraatahu qaddarna innaha lamina alghabireena"},{"id":61,"text":"فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ءَالَ لُوطٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ","translation":"And when the messengers came to the family of Lot","transliteration":"Falamma jaa ala lootin almursaloona"},{"id":62,"text":"قَالَ إِنَّكُمۡ قَوۡمٞ مُّنكَرُونَ","translation":"He said, \"Indeed, you are people unknown","transliteration":"Qala innakum qawmun munkaroona"},{"id":63,"text":"قَالُواْ بَلۡ جِئۡنَٰكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ","translation":"They said, \"But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing","transliteration":"Qaloo bal jinaka bima kanoo feehi yamtaroona"},{"id":64,"text":"وَأَتَيۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ","translation":"And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful","transliteration":"Waataynaka bialhaqqi wainna lasadiqoona"},{"id":65,"text":"فَأَسۡرِ بِأَهۡلِكَ بِقِطۡعٖ مِّنَ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱتَّبِعۡ أَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ وَلَا يَلۡتَفِتۡ مِنكُمۡ أَحَدٞ وَٱمۡضُواْ حَيۡثُ تُؤۡمَرُونَ","translation":"So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded","transliteration":"Faasri biahlika biqitAAin mina allayli waittabiAA adbarahum wala yaltafit minkum ahadun waimdoo haythu tumaroona"},{"id":66,"text":"وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعٞ مُّصۡبِحِينَ","translation":"And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning","transliteration":"Waqadayna ilayhi thalika alamra anna dabira haolai maqtooAAun musbiheena"},{"id":67,"text":"وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ","translation":"And the people of the city came rejoicing","transliteration":"Wajaa ahlu almadeenati yastabshiroona"},{"id":68,"text":"قَالَ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ضَيۡفِي فَلَا تَفۡضَحُونِ","translation":"[Lot] said, \"Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me","transliteration":"Qala inna haolai dayfee fala tafdahooni"},{"id":69,"text":"وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ","translation":"And fear Allah and do not disgrace me","transliteration":"Waittaqoo Allaha wala tukhzooni"},{"id":70,"text":"قَالُوٓاْ أَوَلَمۡ نَنۡهَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ","translation":"They said, \"Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people","transliteration":"Qaloo awalam nanhaka AAani alAAalameena"},{"id":71,"text":"قَالَ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِيٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ","translation":"[Lot] said, \"These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]","transliteration":"Qala haolai banatee in kuntum faAAileena"},{"id":72,"text":"لَعَمۡرُكَ إِنَّهُمۡ لَفِي سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ يَعۡمَهُونَ","translation":"By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly","transliteration":"LaAAamruka innahum lafee sakratihim yaAAmahoona"},{"id":73,"text":"فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُشۡرِقِينَ","translation":"So the shriek seized them at sunrise","transliteration":"Faakhathathumu alssayhatu mushriqeena"},{"id":74,"text":"فَجَعَلۡنَا عَٰلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ حِجَارَةٗ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ","translation":"And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay","transliteration":"FajaAAalna AAaliyaha safilaha waamtarna AAalayhim hijaratan min sijjeelin"},{"id":75,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that are signs for those who discern","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatin lilmutawassimeena"},{"id":76,"text":"وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٖ مُّقِيمٍ","translation":"And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road","transliteration":"Wainnaha labisabeelin muqeemin"},{"id":77,"text":"إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Indeed in that is a sign for the believers","transliteration":"Inna fee thalika laayatan lilmumineena"},{"id":78,"text":"وَإِن كَانَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأَيۡكَةِ لَظَٰلِمِينَ","translation":"And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers","transliteration":"Wain kana ashabu alaykati lathalimeena"},{"id":79,"text":"فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٖ مُّبِينٖ","translation":"So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway","transliteration":"Faintaqamna minhum wainnahuma labiimamin mubeenin"},{"id":80,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ كَذَّبَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡحِجۡرِ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ","translation":"And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers","transliteration":"Walaqad kaththaba ashabu alhijri almursaleena"},{"id":81,"text":"وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ","translation":"And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away","transliteration":"Waataynahum ayatina fakanoo AAanha muAArideena"},{"id":82,"text":"وَكَانُواْ يَنۡحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ","translation":"And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure","transliteration":"Wakanoo yanhitoona mina aljibali buyootan amineena"},{"id":83,"text":"فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّيۡحَةُ مُصۡبِحِينَ","translation":"But the shriek seized them at early morning","transliteration":"Faakhathathumu alssayhatu musbiheena"},{"id":84,"text":"فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ","translation":"So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn","transliteration":"Fama aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yaksiboona"},{"id":85,"text":"وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ لَأٓتِيَةٞۖ فَٱصۡفَحِ ٱلصَّفۡحَ ٱلۡجَمِيلَ","translation":"And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness","transliteration":"Wama khalaqna alssamawati waalarda wama baynahuma illa bialhaqqi wainna alssaAAata laatiyatun faisfahi alssafha aljameela"},{"id":86,"text":"إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ","translation":"Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator","transliteration":"Inna rabbaka huwa alkhallaqu alAAaleemu"},{"id":87,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكَ سَبۡعٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمَثَانِي وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡعَظِيمَ","translation":"And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur'an","transliteration":"Walaqad ataynaka sabAAan mina almathanee waalqurana alAAatheema"},{"id":88,"text":"لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيۡنَيۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ","translation":"Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers","transliteration":"La tamuddanna AAaynayka ila ma mattaAAna bihi azwajan minhum wala tahzan AAalayhim waikhfid janahaka lilmumineena"},{"id":89,"text":"وَقُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا ٱلنَّذِيرُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ","translation":"And say, \"Indeed, I am the clear warner","transliteration":"Waqul innee ana alnnatheeru almubeenu"},{"id":90,"text":"كَمَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِينَ","translation":"Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators","transliteration":"Kama anzalna AAala almuqtasimeena"},{"id":91,"text":"ٱلَّذِينَ جَعَلُواْ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ عِضِينَ","translation":"Who have made the Qur'an into portions","transliteration":"Allatheena jaAAaloo alqurana AAideena"},{"id":92,"text":"فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسۡـَٔلَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ","translation":"So by your Lord, We will surely question them all","transliteration":"Fawarabbika lanasalannahum ajmaAAeena"},{"id":93,"text":"عَمَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ","translation":"About what they used to do","transliteration":"AAamma kanoo yaAAmaloona"},{"id":94,"text":"فَٱصۡدَعۡ بِمَا تُؤۡمَرُ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ","translation":"Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists","transliteration":"FaisdaAA bima tumaru waaAArid AAani almushrikeena"},{"id":95,"text":"إِنَّا كَفَيۡنَٰكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَهۡزِءِينَ","translation":"Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers","transliteration":"Inna kafaynaka almustahzieena"},{"id":96,"text":"ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡعَلُونَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ","translation":"Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know","transliteration":"Allatheena yajAAaloona maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara fasawfa yaAAlamoona"},{"id":97,"text":"وَلَقَدۡ نَعۡلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدۡرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ","translation":"And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say","transliteration":"Walaqad naAAlamu annaka yadeequ sadruka bima yaqooloona"},{"id":98,"text":"فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ","translation":"So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]","transliteration":"Fasabbih bihamdi rabbika wakun mina alssajideena"},{"id":99,"text":"وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَكَ ٱلۡيَقِينُ","translation":"And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death)","transliteration":"WaoAAbud rabbaka hatta yatiyaka alyaqeenu"}]}
