# Runtime boundary repair verification

Evidence record: EV-221. Goal: TRK-166. Requests: REQ-178, REQ-179,
REQ-180, REQ-181. Implementation base: 9bb42c2 (published 0.16.62).

The [implementation plan](../../.prd_plugin/state/artifacts/implementation_plan/audit-boundary-fixes.json)
maps all eight CRAFTESB dimensions to the repairs and their validations.
The [source audit](../../raw/operations/2026-09-14-runtime-boundary-audit.md)
records the architecture and original reproductions. EV-220 records the red
tests and focused green results before integration onto current main.

## Verified behavior

- Foreign, malformed, and opaque browser origins, hostile Host values, and
non-JSON writes cannot change configuration through the local UI. Same-origin
requests and local JSON clients remain supported.
- Worker sessions cannot close, send, or flush canonical requests. Lead-session
  request closure remains supported.
- Concurrent configuration writes preserve both acknowledged changes. Python
owns the shared lock for settings, profiles, and fabric bindings; Node profile
and setting calls complete without acquiring that lock twice.
- Changed, missing, and non-file judgment sources leave the waiting run and its
receipts unchanged. Restored sources can resume normally. The implementation
also checks repository containment and read failures before accepting hashes.

## Checks and results

WFR-471 completed the source-bound code review using the explicitly selected
main-agent fallback. The result records the actual reviewer and the disabled
external integration. The original configuration was restored byte-for-byte.

WFR-472 completed the 0.16.63 release workflow:

- All 1,299 unit tests passed, including Node, installer, and official bridge
  integration coverage.
- Configuration and state checks, workflow and Substrate capability audits,
release hygiene, version gap audit, package dry-run, and final state gate passed.
- The first full pass exposed a test that still required twelve native tools;
the current catalog has thirteen. The corrected test derives its expectation
from the catalog, and its 14-test module passed before the successful full run.
- A later gate retry corrected a split Markdown link. The already successful
test suite and release checks were retained; only the failed step retried.

The mock system suite passed 12 tests and skipped 6 explicitly disabled
real-agent scenarios. The changed documentation's local links were checked.
The final documentation assertion and link edits were reviewed separately;
neither changed runtime behavior.

## Limits

This was a self-review, not an independent model review. HTTP fixtures verified
the request boundary; no browser exploit was executed. Judgment references that
are bare record IDs are not content-hashed. Existing development-only dependency
advisories remain in REQ-182; this evidence does not claim a clean npm audit.
Verification preceded the release commit and remote tag push.
