## Choose your Jargon Coach mode

Opt in to accurate technical language with explanations that adapt as you learn.

Jargon Coach is Power Claude's view of the Hurc Technical Fluency capability. It uses real technical terms, adds concise first-use explanations at your chosen depth, and stops explaining concepts after you demonstrate understanding. It is off until you choose a starting level or manual-only mode.

- Your profile is local-first Hurc data shared across supported clients — Power Claude does not keep a second learning database.
- Mastery stays separate by technical domain and individual concept; seeing a term repeatedly is never enough to mark it mastered.
- You can open the glossary, explain a term again, mute automatic help, or disable the capability at any time.
- Prompts, responses, source files, credentials, and transcripts are not stored in the learning profile.

> 💡 **Tip:** Choose a level or manual-only mode in the editor, or use `hurc fluency mode <0-5|manual>`. The same Hurc profile is used in Power Claude, Power Codex, Power Grok, and other supported consumers.
