# source/ — immutable originals

Verbatim copies of everything ingested (interview transcripts, meeting notes, exports, pasted
messages). **Never edit these after capture** — they're the audit trail that lets you check how
a synthesised fact was derived.

Naming: `YYYY-MM-DD-short-description.md` (e.g. `2026-01-20-roadmap-review-notes.md`).

Synthesis lives in `knowledge/`, `decisions/`, `hypotheses/`, and `stakeholders/`; the raw
material stays here.
