# pi-ultra-messenger Changelog ## [0.26.0] — 2026-07-16 ### Added - **`/swarm` control plane (Phase C1)**: the overlay can now drive the supervisor from the UI. Overview shows a control bar with `S` Start Swarm, `p` pause, `P` resume, `s` stop (with `y/N` confirmation); a title-bar heartbeat (per-tick `tickCount` via `POST /control status`); worker headroom and per-pool fill gauges; and a `v` view-only mode that disables all mutating keys. All mutations go through the new `POST /control` HTTP endpoint (single authority shared with the CLI) and are audited to `.pi/messenger/control-audit.jsonl` with `source: ui|cli`. - `ProjectSupervisorSnapshot.tickCount` increments each tick (backend for the heartbeat). - `POST /control` endpoint: `swarm.start` (bootstrap), `pause`/`resume`/`stop` (routed through the same `applySupervisorOp` as `/supervisor`), `status`; returns a fresh `configSnapshot` plus a truthful snapshot. ### Added (earlier) - **Automatic context-rich Bead quality gate** (`goalRefiner.mode: "automatic"`): the supervisor now scores each ready Bead against executable-memory criteria (outcome, acceptance criteria, verification plan, failure modes, dependencies, implementation context). Thin Beads are withheld from workers and sent once to the configured refiner model, which rewrites the description into self-contained context (marked with an enrichment marker so it is not re-enriched). Already quality-approved Beads keep flowing to workers without waiting. Disabled by default; `manual` mode preserves the prior suggestion-only behavior. - `GoalRefinerConfig.minimumQualityScore` (0–100, default 75) tunes the admission threshold. Outcome, acceptance, and verification are mandatory even when the weighted score clears the threshold. - `pi --model` thinking-level suffixes (e.g. `gpt-5.6-sol:medium`) are now stripped for Pi inventory validation so enricher models validate. - `pi-ultra-messenger supervisor status` now reports quality-ready count, thin Bead count, threshold, and the Bead currently being enriched. ### Fixed - `pi-ultra-messenger supervisor start|status|pause|resume|stop` were silently swallowed by the local-command guard and never reached the server-backed lifecycle handler.
