# pi-message-timestamps

A deliberately minimal [Pi](https://github.com/earendil-works/pi) extension that displays a locale-formatted timestamp after each assistant turn in the TUI.

That is all it does: it adds a timestamp after assistant turns. It adds no tools, commands, model context, network access, configuration, or other behavior.

## Install

From npm:

```sh
pi install npm:pi-message-timestamps
```

From git:

```sh
pi install git:github.com/user1303836/pi-message-timestamps
```

The extension stores the assistant message's original timestamp in a TUI-only custom entry, then renders it with the current locale. The entry is not sent to the model.

This package is only a timestamp extension and nothing else.
