A Session can keep adding chat output while you read. When you are at the bottom, Oysterun keeps the newest output in view. When you scroll up, it preserves the older content you are reading and shows Jump to Latest as your way back.
1. Start at the latest result
Starting screen: the intended Session chat with its name, timeline, and composer visible.
Confirm the Session name in the header.
Look at the bottom of the timeline for the newest visible result.
If Jump to Latest is visible, select it once and wait for the timeline to settle.
2. Follow output as it arrives
Visible checkpoint: New output rows have arrived at the live bottom while Fake continues and the Session header and composer remain visible.
Keep the timeline at the bottom while the current work continues.
Let the next output arrive without scrolling or selecting the timeline.
Read each new result from the bottom as it appears.
You do not need to drag the scrollbar after every update. When the timeline is already at its live bottom, Oysterun keeps the arriving output visible.
3. Read older content without being pulled away
Visible checkpoint: Older reading position remaining stable while new output arrives.
Scroll upward until the older message or result you need is clearly visible.
Note a distinctive phrase, heading, or source label so you can recognize your place.
Continue reading while new output arrives below.
Oysterun should preserve this older reading position. New output can continue below, but it should not force the timeline back to the bottom.
4. Return to the newest output
Visible checkpoint: Jump-to-latest control returning to the newest output.
Finish reading the older content you need.
Select Jump to Latest once.
Wait for the newest content to appear at the bottom before taking another action.
5. Use the visible return control
If you opened a focused older result, use Jump to Latest to leave that older position and return to live output.
Do not send a new message merely to move the timeline. Sending starts or continues work; it is not a return-to-latest action.
Do not select Jump to Latest repeatedly. Select it once, wait, and then check the bottom of the timeline.
6. Recover when the timeline is not where you expect
What you see
What to do
Jump to Latest is visible when you expected to be at the bottom
Select it once and wait for the timeline to settle.
Older content moved before you finished reading
Scroll back to the phrase or heading you noted, then pause there. Do not use the jump control until you are ready.
The current work is still producing output
Wait for the current result to finish. Do not resend the same request just to refresh the timeline.
The newest output is still unavailable
Confirm the Session name, reload once, then select Jump to Latest if it appears.
You returned to a different Session or sign-in screen
Stop. Reopen the intended Session or sign in through the normal Oysterun screen before continuing.
