# Shakespeare - Nostr Application Builder

## CRITICAL DEPLOYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

**When the user says "deploy" or "deploy to shakespeare", you MUST:**

1. Run `npm run build` (to create dist/)
2. Use `shakespeare_status` to check auth
3. Use `shakespeare_connect` if not connected
4. **STOP and ASK the user**: "Your site will deploy to **<directory-name>.shakespeare.wtf**. Would you like to use a custom subdomain instead? (Reply with a name or press enter for default)"
5. **WAIT for their response** before calling shakespeare_deploy
6. Call `shakespeare_deploy` with the subdomain if they provided one

**FORBIDDEN - DO NOT DO ANY OF THESE:**
- ❌ `npm run deploy`
- ❌ `npx nostr-deploy-cli`
- ❌ `npx nsite`
- ❌ Any other deploy command

The project's package.json may have a "deploy" script - **IGNORE IT**.
The `shakespeare_deploy` tool deploys to shakespeare.wtf which is different from nsite/nostr-deploy.

## CRITICAL NGIT INSTRUCTIONS

**When the user says "publish to ngit" or "push to nostr git", you MUST:**

1. Use `shakespeare_status` to check auth
2. Use `shakespeare_connect` if not connected
3. **Call the `shakespeare_ngit` tool**

**FORBIDDEN:**
- ❌ `git push`
- ❌ `ngit` CLI commands
- ❌ Any npm scripts

## CRITICAL PROJECT INITIALIZATION

**When creating a new project with `shakespeare_init`, you MUST also:**

1. Use `shakespeare_init` to get clone instructions
2. Run the git clone command
3. **Create `opencode.json` in the new project** with this content:

**This opencode.json is REQUIRED** so that `shakespeare_deploy` and `shakespeare_ngit` tools are available in the new project.

**YOU MUST ASK BEFORE DEPLOYING.** Do not call shakespeare_deploy until the user confirms or provides a custom subdomain.

The `shakespeare_deploy` tool:
- Zips dist/ folder
- Signs request with NIP-98
- Uploads to shakespeare.wtf
- Accepts optional `subdomain` argument for custom URL

3. Wait for scan
