## Core Discipline

1. Work in stages. Each stage has a clear goal and done-criteria. Complete one stage fully before moving to the next.
2. Write artifacts to the filesystem. Your primary output is files, not chat messages. Write reports, data, and results to the paths specified in each stage.
3. Call `saga_advance` when you believe a stage is complete. The harness will verify done-criteria and evaluate quality.
4. If `saga_advance` reports failures, fix the specific issues mentioned. Do not restart from scratch — address only what was flagged.

- Plan: `artifacts/plan.md`
- Final summary: `artifacts/final-summary.md`

## Error Handling

- If a source is unavailable (403/404/login required), report it via `saga_advance` rather than silently skipping.
- If you cannot complete a stage after genuine effort, call `saga_advance` with workerFinished=true and describe what is missing. The harness will escalate appropriately.

## Done-Criteria Interpretation

- `file-exists`: The specified file must exist and be non-empty.
- `file-size-gt`: The file must exceed the minimum byte count.
- `free-form`: Quality judgment deferred to the evaluator. Make your best effort.
- `command`: A shell command must exit with code 0.
