# /workflow:init

Initialize the OMGKIT workflow configuration system in your project.

## Usage

```bash
# Interactive setup
/workflow:init

# Use specific workflow preset
/workflow:init --workflow=trunk-based
/workflow:init --workflow=gitflow
/workflow:init --workflow=github-flow

# Use all defaults (trunk-based)
/workflow:init --defaults

# Force overwrite existing config
/workflow:init --force
```

## What It Does

1. **Creates `.omgkit/` directory** if not exists
2. **Generates `workflow.yaml`** with your preferences
3. **Sets up Git hooks** based on configuration
4. **Validates existing setup** and suggests improvements

## Interactive Setup

When run without arguments, guides you through:

1. **Workflow Type**
   - Trunk-based (recommended for CI/CD)
   - GitHub Flow (simple, PR-based)
   - GitFlow (release-based)

2. **Branch Settings**
   - Main branch name
   - Branch prefixes

3. **Commit Conventions**
   - Conventional commits (recommended)
   - Scope requirements

4. **PR Settings**
   - Review requirements
   - Auto-labeling

5. **Hooks**
   - Pre-commit actions
   - Pre-push actions

6. **Deployment**
   - Provider (Vercel, Netlify, etc.)
   - Auto-deploy settings

## Workflow Presets

### Trunk-Based (Default)

Best for: Teams practicing continuous deployment.

### GitHub Flow

Best for: Teams with regular releases, focus on code review.

```

### GitFlow

Best for: Teams with scheduled releases, multiple environments.

```yaml
git:
  workflow: gitflow
  develop_branch: develop
hooks:
  pre_commit: [lint, format, type-check]
  pre_push: [test, build]
```

## Examples

# Quick setup for a new project
/workflow:init --workflow=trunk-based

# Setup for enterprise project

## After Initialization

1. **Review generated config**: `.omgkit/workflow.yaml`
2. **Commit config to repo**: `git add .omgkit && git commit -m "chore: add workflow config"`
3. **Team syncs and runs**: `/hooks:setup`
