# Claude Code 2.1.214 compatibility evidence

## Evidence

- Anthropic published Claude Code `2.1.214` on 2026-07-18: <https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/releases/tag/v2.1.214>.
- The locally installed first-party CLI reports `2.1.214 (Claude Code)`.
- The local `claude --help` output still exposes the OMS launch surfaces for settings, MCP configuration, allowed and disallowed tools, permission mode, model selection, and session identity.
- OMS compatibility constants and JSON schemas explicitly admit `2.1.214`; they do not use a version range.
- Focused tests prove that the version probe accepts `2.1.214`, generated worker hooks carry `2.1.214`, provider observations validate with `2.1.214`, and the packed-install fixture passes its offline doctor/start smoke with a `2.1.214` fake CLI.
- The same tests prove that the unreviewed next version, `2.1.215`, is rejected by both the launch preflight and provider-hook boundary.

## Boundary

This record contains release metadata, local CLI inspection, static contract changes, and offline test evidence. It does not claim a live provider turn, live hook delivery, subscription billing behavior, provider-side availability, or a 24-hour run on Claude Code `2.1.214`. Later Claude Code versions remain unsupported until separately reviewed and added exactly.
