# Errors

Some common error responses given by editor and reasons

* **No Selection made** - no  text is selected for action
* **Range out of the editor** - editor has no clue where to execute the command, make sure the text-area is focussed
* **Invalid URL** - entered URL is invalid
* **Invalid image** - not a valid image selected for upload
* **Image Endpoint isn`t provided or invalid** - reference to a link which is not an image or image may not be found
* **Only new links can be inserted. You cannot edit URL`s** - you are trying to edit link which is not allowed
