# OMNI media lease manager

This local FastAPI service implements the manager contract consumed by
`orchestrator/media.py`: create a capability lease, inspect it, and release it.
It never downloads a model. `OMNI_MANAGER_LAUNCH_ENABLED` defaults to `0`, so
creating a lease normally performs no network call and starts no process.

An operator may explicitly enable bounded HTTP launch/release hooks with
`OMNI_MANAGER_VIDEO_LAUNCH_URL`, `OMNI_MANAGER_IMAGE_LAUNCH_URL`, and the
matching `*_RELEASE_URL` values. Hook URLs must be loopback endpoints unless
the Compose-only local-endpoint exception is explicitly enabled. No shell
command is accepted from HTTP or environment configuration.

The Compose deployment binds the service inside its internal network only; it
does not publish port 8110 to the host.
