# Chart properties

## Chart ID

_`pie.chart.setId(str)` - Optional, defaults to `<SVGId>_chart`._

```JavaScript
pie.chart.setId(str); // Sets the id of the `<g>` element.
pie.chart.getId();       // Returns the id of the `<g>` element.
pie.chart.getHashId();   // Returns the id of the `<g>` element with '#' prefix.
