description: Implement features in the conventions the codebase already uses
---

Implement a feature, fix, or refactor.

Invoke the `myaidev-coder` skill for the full pipeline — convention detection, generation,
then self-review. For a direct single-agent implementation, invoke the `dev-coder` agent.

## Usage

```bash
/myai-dev-code "Implement token refresh on the auth endpoint"
/myai-dev-code "Fix the race in the order processor" --profile=bugfix
/myai-dev-code "Add the export endpoint" --tdd
```

## Options

| Option | Description | Default |
|--------|-------------|---------|
| `--tdd` | Write tests first, then implement against them | `false` |
| `--incremental` | Break into chunks, test and review after each | `false` |
| `--architecture <file>` | Design to implement | `{session_dir}/architecture.md` |

## What It Does

1. Detects the codebase's conventions — naming, structure, imports, error handling, tests
2. Plans the change: files to touch, what already exists that can be reused
3. Implements the smallest coherent change, error paths included
4. Runs the project's build, lint, and tests, and reports the real output
5. Self-reviews the diff before handing it on

## Output

Source changes, plus `{session_dir}/implementation-manifest.md` listing what changed and
why, the conventions followed, and anything it could not complete.

## Notes

It will not disable a test or weaken a type to get a green run. If something fails and it
cannot fix it, that is reported rather than hidden.
