# Example: Using planck-claw with OpenRouter

This example shows how to set up and use planck-claw with OpenRouter as your LLM provider.

## Step 1: Get OpenRouter API Key

1. Visit https://openrouter.ai
2. Sign up or log in
3. Go to Keys section
4. Create a new API key

## Step 2: Initialize planck-claw

```bash
planck-claw onboard
```

This creates the configuration directory at `~/.planck-claw/`

## Step 3: Configure OpenRouter

Edit `~/.planck-claw/config.json`:

## Available Models via OpenRouter

OpenRouter gives you access to many models:

- `anthropic/claude-opus-4-5` - Claude Opus (recommended)
- `anthropic/claude-sonnet-4` - Claude Sonnet
- `openai/gpt-4-turbo` - GPT-4 Turbo
- `openai/gpt-4o` - GPT-4o
- `google/gemini-pro` - Gemini Pro
- `meta-llama/llama-3.1-70b-instruct` - Llama 3.1
- And many more...

## Interactive Mode Commands

In interactive mode (`planck-claw agent`):

- Type your message and press Enter
- Type `clear` to clear conversation history
- Type `exit` or `quit` to exit

## Using Environment Variables

Alternatively, you can set your API key via environment variable:

export OPENROUTER_API_KEY="sk-or-v1-YOUR_KEY_HERE"
planck-claw agent -m "Hello!"
```
