Radhakrishnan CV This font is an offspring of the 1999 campaign of 'Rachana Akshara Vedi' led by Mr. Chitrajakumar who concieved an exhaustive character set for Malayalam computing, later taken initiatives to popularise by Anivar Aravind of Swathantra Malayalam Computing (SMC). This font is created, named and released in memory of Comrade TN Joy (August 16, 1949--October 2, 2018) who was a Marxist but a revolutionary thinker and activist beyond traditional Marxism. He was the main force to organise underground resistance against autocratic rule in Emergency period (1975--77) in Kerala. He was one of the organisers of font releasing function of Rachana at VJT Hall, Thiruvananthapuram on 7th July 1999. Making of this font is funded by Janayugom Publications, Kadappakkada, Kollam as a part of the 'Scribus Project' led by Mr. Rajaji Mathew Thomas which made possible the first daily news paper to typeset using fully open source operating system and open softwares.
