# Supported Environment

- Node.js: 24 or newer (`package.json` declares `engines.node: >=24`).
- Package manager for development and CI: `pnpm@11.9.0` through Corepack with `pnpm-lock.yaml` and `--frozen-lockfile`.
- Pi: a current Pi installation capable of installing native packages from local, Git, or npm sources.
- Operating systems: macOS, Linux, or Windows where Node.js 24 and Pi are available.

Runtime storage is local. Set `LEARNING_SESSION_HOME` before launching Pi when an operator needs a specific data location.
