# FotMob data provenance

## FotMob data sources

**Category:** licensed (physical metrics); not publicly documented (other data).

FotMob says it buys official data for its physical metrics feature, and that an
outage in that data affected all score providers. It does not name the supplier,
or say where its scores, events and other statistics come from.

"after purchasing the official data and spending the summer building this
feature" and "This affects all score providers, not just FotMob." Checked 2026-09-24.
