The *Reference Documentation* section groups the following document types:

* Established and fully documented procedures and workflows that are essential to the Hardware Team
* Background information and *wiki* style documents

Note that this does not imply that the documents posted here should never change. On the contrary, they should be updated regularly. However, in contrast to :ref:`Tutorials <tutorials_hw>`, their core message should not change significantly.
