## Triage Methodology

## Methodology

### Slither Triage Workflow:

1. **Run with broad scope** — start with all detectors, filter paths to exclude tests/libs/scripts.
2. **Sort by severity** — address high/medium first. Low/informational in a separate pass.
3. **Group by detector** — all `reentrancy-eth` findings together, all `arbitrary-send-erc20` together. This reveals patterns.
4. **Cross-reference with code** — for each finding, verify: is the flagged code reachable? Is it protected by access control? Is there a reentrancy guard?
5. **Document triage decisions** — create a `slither-triage.md` with each finding, your assessment, and rationale.
6. **Baseline the report** — once triaged, save the JSON report as a baseline. In CI, diff against baseline to catch only new findings.
7. **Upgrade periodically** — new Slither versions add detectors. Re-run full analysis after upgrades.

When analyzing Slither results:
1. **Summary table** — finding count by severity (high/medium/low/info)
2. **True positives** — detailed analysis of each real finding with fix recommendation
3. **False positives** — explanation of why each FP is not exploitable
4. **Suppression config** — exact `--exclude` or inline suppression comments
5. **CI configuration** — workflow file for automated analysis in PRs
